Hey Hektor I been watching your videos for a while now and you actually inspired me to take that next level step and start my own mobile mechanic business and it’s been the best decision I’ve made so far! So thank you!
Saludos desde Chicago Hektor!! Thank you for inspiring me to make a come back to fixing cars and go to school to get certified!! Awesome with la chingadera!! Lol!!! Keep up the good job Hektor!! Peace brother!
I heard some cars have both dics pads and drums so definitely learned something new today. Just wondering why you didn't use brake grease on the disc pads?
AH explains why I nearly slammed face first into a steel gate, the mechanic didn't warn me about pumping the brakes, told me that the brake pads needed to be bedded. I always wondering why my second mechanic asked me to pump the brakes after he had finished installing them
Always grease caliper pins and behind pads were caliper touches the pads. Remove hardware clean them and grease break pads were the hardware touching break pads tabs. ( use very little). Installing new rotors use break clean to remove the protected film on the rotor. Last every 30,000 I’ll do a break flush.
HECTOR I FUCKING LOVE YOU BRO!! I was having that issue with my G35 I couldn’t do the rears because of that “chingadera” but watching this Im like 🤯 Ight that’s it tomorrow I’m changing the rears! I honestly was just watching Bcz I enjoy your content but holy shit you’re a life saver. How hard was it to get loose with the wrench? Tips? Or did it just break loose? PS. It’s 4am here 😂
Hey Hector, your videos are awesome 👌 Sorry to see that Firestone let go of a great asset 😡 I have trouble with my 2004 camry please help!!! Basic info is this.. - headlights went out. - checked fuses with test light and it didn't light up. - checked fuses by placing them in different fuse slots and they are good. - I checked the headlight relay as you showed in the relay video, and its fine. - I checked the positive and negative current in the fuse box in the relay socket and the negative is lighting up with really low light. Positive side gives out full light on test light. - conclusion I came to is fuse box might have issue..?? Maybe?? I can't find nothing else online to help me and I believe you may be able to help me. PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE!! 😅😓😓😓
Generally with flip sockets you use a 3inch 1/2in extension. You could always use longer but the middle part of the socket is the box end to attach the extension.
For sh!ts & giggles I went to a local tire store for a brake estimate. I laughed when he gave me a $550 per axle price. I just dropped in 8 new pads for under $50 total.
i didn't see you cleaning the rotors, you always clean the oil off with break cleaner and it reduces come backs!! ok now thats out of the way when are you gonna have a HEKTOOOOOOR sticker?
I don't even have this type of car but the way he explains this and the dash of humor he adds made me want to subscribe 😆

How you plug in Eric O. But no brake cleaner 😢
When he said “ ay wey” hahaha funny cause I say the same thing when something is real tight
Same
Always good to put some high temp grease or copper grease around the hub where it slots through the brake disc too to prevent corrosion.
True 👊🏼
Not in socal bud, grease usually tends to just gum up
@@shinigamidaiko666 High temp grease is completely fine to use in California, and copper grease. Better than Rust.

You do brake conversions?
How come you use an adaptor on your Milwaukee?
I thingk thats an adapter to use flip sockets. I think its a 21 and 19 mm socket on there.
Yeah, it’s a 3inch extension for the full sockets. Check the description of the video, you’ll se them there 👍🏼
Hektor, where are you located? I want you to work on my truck.

Always enjoy your videos!! Question: how do you attach your flip socket to your Milwaukee impact driver?
Generally with flip sockets you use a 3inch 1/2in extension. You could always use longer but the middle part of the socket is the box end to attach the extension.
@@nicholaswarechowski thank you.
3” extension. Check the link in the description for the flip socket set 👍🏼
