To answer your question..no. The republicans couldn’t prove it was his. In fairness, it would be hard to prove that it was Hunters because of all the people traffic in that area. They have the documents that prove that what Cohen is saying is true. This was a campaign expense. The records were falsified to make it look like a legal expense. They have the payments. They have a document that explains the payments with both Cohen's and the CFO's handwriting. They have testimony from multiple people that back up the documents. This is not a difficult case. Trump made the decision to do this and approved the documented payments.
Trump's whole administration has been in jail, in jail now or going to jail. The rest are all Republicans testifying against him. He really does destroy anyone's life he is near!

There has not actually been anything presented during the case that’s a crime. It’s not a crime to pay for NDAs. It’s not a crime to have your attorney arrange for the payments and the details. It’s not a crime to take your attorney’s advice on how to do it. It’s not a crime to pay your attorney back for having done this. It’s not a crime for a bookkeeper, who isn’t you, to label those payments as “legal expenses”.

Even if this pinhead had a point, the in kind contribution issue is a FEDERAL issue, not a State issue. It's strictly within the jurisdiction of the Feds. The state court has ZERO jurisdiction over it.
