Love these jeans my oldest set is 4 years old and they still are in fair shape. Pockets no holes. I have a small hole on the stitching on my left hip. Probably from my pistol.
I have 4 pairs of these and others from 5.11, Viktos, and LAPG and my only main complaint with these are the back pockets will start tearing from top corner of the pockets. My right back pocket is always first to get hole around the top left corner and rest of these pants have done same. My others gripes with these are the placement of zipper/zipper to short (IMHO), no left coin pocket, and they seem fit more baggy than the other brands. What I do love is the crotch gusset The smaller keychain loop built in with/stitched along with belt loops, the stitching and bindability around knees, and they overall fabric is durable (minus those back pockets) and very breathable! In fact to highlight the "coolmax" feature; in the winter time you can definitely feel the breathability/airflow. Would like no spandex at all in fabric since these are already more baggy fitting than others. Overall it's still tied for my favorite out of all my tactical jeans!
Great review Sir! I was a long-time Wrangler wearer (still a fan), but the Defiant jeans are now my go to jeans. I love them enough to have 5 pair, 3 blue and 2 khaki, and wear them pretty much every day. I found them to be very durable. I tripped and fell on a brick walkway and while I skinned the hell out of my knees, the jeans didn't rip or "rub" through. Kudos to Vertx! That being said, they didn't fare too well when going against a power hedge trimmer. 😖 Even then, they didn't tear up and protected my calf. Keep up the great work!
I have a black pair. I wore them every day for 3 years. Barely wearing a small bit through the crotch. I have a 2nd pair in beige for a more dressy pair. I'm looking at buying a Dark Wash in a slightly smaller size after i lost some weight. I love them. The mag pocket works amazing for a phone pocket. The wallet pocket is a feature i just found out from this video! Thanks!
@voltaire5427 no they do not. There is a small one on the back but if you have on a belt it would cover it. Any shirt would also be long enough to cover it as well.
These are, BY FAR, the most comfortable jeans I've ever owned. They are the only jeans I wear now. I love everything about them except for ONE SPECIFIC detail. In the description, these jeans are listed as having "boot friendly" cuffs. This is false. My boots technically fit in the cuffs but it's tight (that's what she said). In my opinion, the only thing that would make these jeans better would be adding actual boot cut cuffs. My favorite pants, the Vertx Delta stretch series also have "boot friendly" cuffs and they actually do fit my boots much better.
I have had jeans/pants in the past that I liked and would buy the same brand when needed. This is the 1st brand that I have loved and will stick to with no hesitation.
just my personal opinion i love the features of these pants but i hate the way they fit not a fan of the athletic slim thighs mine also feel like they shrank after a couple washes granted might be just the way they make them but again thats just 2¢

Thanks man! That means more than you know!

I have been wearing mine for a while now. Can barely tell they have been worn. Love these jeans!!
Do they have logos visible to the casual observer?
@voltaire5427 no they do not. There is a small one on the back but if you have on a belt it would cover it. Any shirt would also be long enough to cover it as well.
after 3 years of wear, how have the mesh pockets held up?
@ryanthe4694 they are just as good as new, and I wear them all the time.
I need me a pair of all colors look like good jeans
Definitely my favorite of all time, and I, too, want more.

What color is this one? Thanks
Pretty sure they are the dark stone wash. I've had them for a while, but that should be the color
Appreciate it!
@SIR EDC no problem sir. Happy to help!
How many logos are visible? Not looking to advertise for them like some other company...
There is only one but a belt or shirt easily will cover it.

Slim fit athletic cut clothes are not for everyone. It would be nice to see Vertx offer some looser cuts for those that don't like slim fit clothing.
