With shoes being stolen during shipping being such a big issue currently, I hate the idea of the single box. These are $250 shoes just openly revealed to anyone who handles them. That alone makes these a pass of buying online

Nike describes the midsole design as a "point-loading" system (i.e. the pillars). I guess it's meant for energy return so it's good for running, hence the springiness, but they also talk about "cushion" which obviously isn't there. Even if it may be uncomfortable and odd for practicality, it's definitely my favorite AirMax design and I will 100% be picking a pair up.
@@benjaminzaoui9683 Why are they not good for running? I bought every colorway Nike made in these for men and even bought the woman's black/purple pair. The Scorpions wouldn't be my first choice if I was literally going out for a run, but I've ran in them many times with absolutely no issues whatsoever.
I've owned a pair of 720s and they are beat to shit. But the bubble has never popped on me. The only issue has been heel drag and has made them on the verge of being unwearable. I don't even make a conscious effort to avoid certain surfaces for popping.
As per experience, the midsole will disintegrate first, but the air unit remains intact. I have quite the collection of air units in a drawer from jordan 4's and airmax's
If your foot made direct contact with the air bubbles then back pressure pushing against your foot causes foot pain in the long term. Also that would directly restrict the energy return and could cause the bubbles to burst after continuous use. Just my personal experience

I wanna try these, as I feel the exact opposite. To me VaporMax get more comfy the longer I wear them, were as most boost sneakers for example get more and more uncomfortable throughout the day the longer I wear them.
I'm the same woth foot fatigue. I loved the original VaporMax but i have a wider foot in the middle section (more like a rectangle vs a triangle shape lol). The TPU that bonded the bubble to the upper had a sharp edge for the back bubble and that would dig into the side of my foot

I used these as a High School basketball Referee and they didn't disappoint. I was also skeptical as they had shades of the Vapormax which to this day is a failed persuit for Nike. I was very pleasantly surprised at the stability, firm stepping and running support, and was overall pleased with the construct of the shoe! I hope no one else endures the rubber sole of the airmax bladder becoming unglued, it flopped around and was a distraction from the games I was officiating, but Nike CS is great and fully accepted my return for a full refund. I then turned around and got the Black Scorpions with the RED swoosh. They're being delivered today!
Hmm, not sure what the durability of the bubbles would be, and there doesn't seem to be enough ankle support wrt to the design verticality. 12:51 There it is, they went for form over function.
Your foot doesn’t make contact with the air units to avoid the inedible concerning the previous vapor max lost of air. The version will provide a longer stability of psi which is the job of the bottom portion. I wore vapormqx flynit for many years and the unit decompressed and over time and got extremely comfortable. Your review on the shoe was detailed however testing it for s day is a major issue. You did not test the vapor max long either and conducted a review which was a bit misleading. Appreciate the review overall but this is a shoe that becomes more comfortable over time not right away….. stabilizing a psi concerning a persons weight is the key to comfort
