Compared with the UK these days it looks like you found some kind of utopia. I tell you, I would rather be there than here based on, not only what I have seen in this video but a number of others I have watched over the weekend. Russia looks so laid back and civilised compared to the UK.

By the way i get the impression, that there's some difference in national traditions: in UK it seems an act of politeness to comment on someone's nice clothes. In Russia we do our best to look perfect but we don't really talk about clothes, accesoires, hairstyles - unless it's a very close friend or a relative. Maybe i am wrong

I've looked at a bit of Russian. Interesting language. Being over 70% deaf I struggle understanding things in English so don't know how I'd learn another language.
"Getting by in Russia as a deaf bloke" would be a very interesting video!
It would be a good video!!! To be honest I don’t know how I would communicate with a deaf person in English! Perhaps I could ask them to write it down? Otherwise I would have no idea. I’d need a hidden camera too because holding a camera and pretending to be deaf would be a difficult one. Though perhaps if I held a price of paper they would confuse me for somebody begging. I think the video is out of my capabilities.
