I went and saw Blues at an Ibanez guitar clinic in Lincoln, NE back in 1990. I remember running into him and I think his dad outside in the parking lot while walking to our car. He was cool!
I've been missing the livestreams, traveling a bit. Awesome to see Blues still super excited about guitaring and life. Keep up the good works Pete, thanks for what you do and thank you for sharing.
Blues has everyone's skills on guitar...and feel....all while having his own vibe. When I listen to his work...he's besting most of the greats....YA I said it.
Mr Saraceno, Brian’s Guitars moved from New Haven/Hamden to Cheshire, CT. It is now dangerously close to where I live. Based on your story, I’m guessing the new Brian is the old Brian’s kid. Fantastic store but I didn’t know the history. About 5 or 6 years ago when Brian moved to Cheshire, he had a grand opening and I walked away with a Lowden O25 from the early 90s. Brian’s also had a 74 LP Deluxe and a 73 Tele which followed me home. Like I said, dangerously close! Cool story. Pete, your shows are the best. I only wish I could tune in every Sunday!
Blues, your experience with the Jazz guys at Creative Strings sounds like the time I showed up at a rehearsal for an Armenian wedding band in Sao Paolo, Brazil with my ‘69 Gibson SG and a huge Ampeg B12-XTC (4x12 portaflex) playing bad Carlos Santana leads all over the vocals. My dad got me that gig too. They didn’t ask em back for a second rehearsal for some reason.
Oh look I said DOOD again, so did I .. I said DOOD EVEN MORE !! I'll say it more than you DOOD !! WE MUST BE COOL !! WE SAY DOOD LOTS .. because.. bye, I'm actually doing a favour. nothing like being original eh 🤨😏😐😑
Great! I loved Blues, very melodic playing.
I LOVE Blues! What a great musician ! Thanks Pete, great show!

I remember when "A Lighter Shade of Plaid" came out, and my mind was blown. It changed my entire view of what guitar was, and what it could do.
BLUES and PETE.
Winning!!! ❤
Damn that dude can really talk, but it never gets boring
Me when I drink 6 cups of coffee in a row 😂
😂😂😂
Fantastic interview.. Fantastic!!
Blues is from Middletown CT, for those that don't know.
Legend has it, they are still podcasting. :D
Blues Saraceno is a fuckin' legend! After all, he's the "kid who replaced Clapton!"

Right Down the Line - Jerry Rafferty
That was the tune! We did a really fun version of that
I remember the Guitar World ads... You wearing plaid-green/blue pants. Or was it the guitar? Good memories.😊
You can't be a guitar player....unless you are that 12 year old guitar player.....when the shit you heard was so fucking cool that you had no choice.
Geez, does he ever stop talking. Take a breath! Lol
Sorry I can’t watch this any further.
