The video she linked is also about shiny dresses. We don’t need to hear about the same dress over and over, the one featured in this video needs a shoutout too!!
My favorite gown of all of The Princess of Wales' gowns is the final one you showed. The blue was stunning and it was lovely, sweet, soft and classic. She didn't need to have a dress that shouted, it was perfection!
The ice blue satin gown that Catherine wore. It was the very last dress that you showed of Catherine. So glamourous and feminine! She looked like a goddess in that dress!
Princess Catherine's Cinderella dress looks so beautiful on her. Also, I love the fact that we all call the red dress "nightmare bewbs." I'm never getting over that code name.
One of my favourite dress of those featured is the green dress Catherine wore on the tour of Pakistan and also the pale satin Cinderella dress is gorgeous but none can compete with the gold dress worn to the James Bond premiere that dress is so iconic.
I think it looked even better when she wore it in Pakistan because the scarf she wore with it softened her shoulders a bit and added volume to the bottom to balance out her shoulders as well.
Solange and that Gucci dress,,,,YIKES. That only confirms my thoughts about Gucci. After the service I got in their Chicago store 45 years ago, I've never stepped foot in one ever again.
18:53 I’ve never seen the pale blue dress of the Princess of Wales before! It’s now one of my fave looks (& there are so many). Happy new year Beebs & the Beebers……❤😂
Many of you might be too young to remember this, but the puffy sleeves on the silver dress remind me of the foil that grows bigger when you cook the jiffy pop popcorn on the stove. I loved them Does any one else remember the fun of those?
I certainly remember the foil popcorn. Especially when one split and exploded while I was shaking it. I had popcorn all over the kitchen. My kids were grabbing it and eating as it floated in the air. We still laugh and joke about our night with the floating popcorn.
One of the rare occassions that I will disagree with you on, Beebs. I LOVE that pink Vampire's Wife dress that Catherine wore on the Caribbean tour. The color is magnificent and the fabric does magical things under different lighting. I think her whole wardrobe for that tour was completely on point with the exception of the yellow scrambled egg nightmare by Alessandra Rich.
This one? katemiddletonstyle.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/kate-middleton-yellow-dress-bahamas-departure.jpg.webp. I was on the fence with it. She is so slim she can pull it off but it looks way more like something Diana would have worn in the 1980s.
The dark green sequined dress with shoulder pads was reminiscent of Hollywood glamor in the 40s and 50s to me. Shoulder pads in this case I feel made her look more glamorous and statuesque.
Awesome choices Beebs and my fav has to be the last dress, I love how flowy it is and it suited Catherine so much. Thanks for this round of dresses You are a Star
@BeebsKelley that light blue dress on Catherine is again one of my favorites along with just about anything Jenny Packam designs. It works be great for Miss America. I thinks you’re right to call it Cinderella like. OMG! Blue isn’t my favorite color but this is absolutely gorgeous.
Beebs, I ❤ the Princess of Wales green gown, the colour, the fit, the style - A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I would like you to check out the silver slip dress Victoria Beckham designed and wore to her son's wedding - I thought it was absolutely OUTSTANDING, to me, perfection.
Ever since I first saw the pink dress on Catherine, I hated it. If the neckline had come down in a V or a scoop, it would've been better. But the high neckline, the widening sleeves, and the shine combined to make it, in my eyes, one of the few fashion fails I've seen on her.
I agree. I almost always really like or love what Katherine wears. She looks amazing in almost anything. However this Vampire’s Wife dress as a “miss” rather than a “hit” for her. I also thought the floral dress she wore when she was showing QEII around the garden she designed at the Chelsea Flower Show was really dowdy. I understand its intent but it was very dull.
I must agree with you….her frame is so tiny that the dress over powered her shape. Sorry, Princess Catherine……still love you❤. Just not that particular dress.
This is my first liking a fashion channel. I don’t follow fashion & trends but I like the creative minds, colors, and listening to your analysis makes it more relatable. No big words, easy for common viewers to listen.
That "gold" dress of Solange Knowles was hideous in every way possible. The color was not gold, it was almost a weird green/ gold combo. The "architectural" ruffles were chunky and ill placed. The peplum made her look either like she was trying to hide a pregnancy or was too fat. Which she is not. How did she not realize how ugly it was?
Actually, I agree with Beebs, it's mostly the out of place peplem around the waist that spoils the whole outfit, and compared to the hideous green-gold lumpy thing with the Harry Potter snitch around the neck, it was beautiful!!!😅
you look lovely Beebs ! I'm really over the ubiquitous thigh high Splits in skirts - especially for more dressy events, when I think the splits cheapen the look of a dress/ gown.
Since the stunning gold James Bond dress is just so jaw dropping beautiful. Of the ones you showed, the dark green dress you showed Catherine wearing is one of my favorites. The dark color goes beautifully with her hair and looks very elegant. She really knows how to use her clothes to make statements. One you didn't include (nonroyal category)but one I thought was clever and stunning, was the dress Blake Lively wore to the Met Gala. When she arrived, it was a stunning pinkish gown with a large bow, then converted into another stunning gown with the bow unfurled and gloves that were changed to create a blue gown that paid homage to the city of New York.
Catherine's ice blue gown was my favourite....just love the flow look.Hate to say it, but I also like Amber's look in that gold dress. The worst got to give it to Chloe Bailey...she looked like she got a giant tumor on her hip 😆
My favorite and all time favorite from Catherine, Princess of Wale's is the Vampire's Wife dress. That is bold and fun. I just love it on her. I think it's a way to show a bit of personality that is girly and almost flirty with the world but as she always does with her fashion, without saying a word, she lets the piece speak for itself!
Hands down, my favourite is that glorious green one worn by Catherine, the Princess of Wales. Just fantastic. Thank you as always for your videos, your research and analytical eye, and all the best for 2024.
Re: 8:21 - I don't know how Carolina Herrera managed to make a beautiful actress in a backless sequined gown look frumpy, but by George, they did it. What a sad hodgepodge of a dress. (Also, Beebs, once again you are looking fabulous today! That top/dress is a stunner!)
I thought Kate H’s look was unfortunate, and then Solange smacked my eyes. Oh Lord… Who got fired for making a gorgeous woman look like a Transformer? Emily’s dress was an achievement of handwork but OTT for anyplace other than the Met. Rebel’s second go at her glittery dress was much more successful. Eeek on the Chloe B. Met look. 😮 Of Catherine’s looks, the Cinderella dress is my fave - glorious! Thanks for the “vicarious NYE” when I will actually be trying to stay awake on the couch.
Oh my…Catherine’s shimmering light blue gown! What absolute perfection! Emily Blunt’s gold all over gala gown is remarkably striking yet feminine - as a balanced overall silhouette - including her matching gold ‘fascinator’ - it all works beautifully! Thank you for sharing your keen insights and wonderful positive sense for elegance and fashion!
Princess Catherine looks like she just stepped out of a fairy tale in that ice blue gown! Just gorgeous!! You make a point in here that I want to take a step further. You mentioned that some noted Meghan's maternity dress was an attempt to copy Diana. One of the things I love about Catherine is that she has her own style. She's not trying to immitate/recreate her mother-in-law. What's even nicer about that choice is that you get to see so much of Diana in Prince William. It just makes them an even dreamier match. 😍
Love this video Beebs. Some gorgeous dresses in there, my favourite is the blue one at the end from the POW. Just stunning. The Solange one is pretty awful.
😂😂 I NEVER thought I'd hear the word Lamay again.... Since like when my mom had a funky gold Lamay outfit in the 80s and as a kid, I remember asking her how she can wear something so..... Weird feeling 😂😂 I don't know how I feel about Lamay, I think the 80s ruined it for me lol!

I do really love Catherine’s pink dress sososo much, so a little bit of a difference of opinion there🥰 I’m firmly convinced Catherine could make a potato sack look elegant😜

My favorite shiny dress is one you DIDN'T show: the gold masterpiece that Catherine wore to the James Bond premiere!

Princess Catherine is an icon while Meghan is just a con!

Good answer.
Yes, a con artist!!!
Very well said 👏 👏👏

Princess of Wales James Bond gold dress premiere was my favorite. It was spectacular!
She was an icon in that dress. She genuinely stunned that night
Can I just say, I absolutely love the outfit William wore at the Pakistan event…
How fabulous did they look together?!?!
That last picture of Princess Catherine in the blue satin dress is my favorite.
I love how Prince William lets Princess Catherine grab all the spotlight!
The satin pale aqua blue that Catherine princess of Wales wore during the Caraïbes tour in 2022 is the most beautiful dress.
That dress was amazing with a Cinderella vibe. I loved the color.
I’d love her to wear it again but with some royal jewels
@@cathyblackhall5237 Perhaps some aquamarines? Or diamonds? I hope not with the Lover's Knot Tiara as that would look too heavy with the gown.

Catherine's Cinderella swoosh dress.
My favorite gown of all of The Princess of Wales' gowns is the final one you showed. The blue was stunning and it was lovely, sweet, soft and classic. She didn't need to have a dress that shouted, it was perfection!
Cathrine’s pale blue dress at the end is my favorite.
Of the last (icy blue) gown shown on Catherine, Princess of Wales, my favorite styling choice were the shimmery shoes and the cascading necklace.
It makes me think of the classic cartoon Cinderella and the dress at the ball.

I love the green sequined Jenny Packham, especially with the very long scarf, as Catherine wore it in Pakistan.

the Cinderella dress of course. It is so hard to find that shade of icy blue.
