Watercoolers are just regular aircoolrs with a higher capacity heatpipe that brings the energy that needs to be dissipated to a larger surface area for easier transfer to the surrounding air.

Honestly in my experience it isn't cheaper when both are new, and the air coolers seem to get noticably worse performance.

Air cooling is by far the most logical choice for 99% of everyday use builds. Gaming is an other world issue high end cooling is needed for high end components. Most know that but it's the few that never stop building that prefer AIO liquid cooling RGB lighting Glass Panels and the like. I wish chip manufacturers would look at building cooler running more efficient tech. Air Baby!

What kind of air coolers are you using? I have a Deepcool AS500 plus and its as quiet as a church mouse. just don't buy the super cheep ones and you're fine.

excessive noise from air coolers comes from the fans, you need to set your fans rpms to 1500 or less to avoid the jet taking off noise and those rpms WILL be enough to disipate the heat even when your cpu is at 100% utilization, there's absolutely no need for the fans to be working above 75% which will only increase wear & tear.

I'll save you 4 minutes from watching the video,
get an air cooler thermalright phantom spirit.
otherwise get a 280MM-360MM aio. Any smaller and it will be worse thermally than air cooling.
    if you're custom cooling.
    A. terrible idea
    B. or you like burning money
    C. Just get a thunderbolt dock and place your pc into the closet for the lowest possible noise.
D.spend the money on a pc with better components instead.

I had the air cooler 212 first and it was perfect silent and without any issues. Then I upgraded to a water cooling cooler master and as soon as the temperature got above 50° is sounded literally like someone is mowing the lawn! It was kinda hilarious but also so annoying like just shut up man lol

@@Techviralizer it wasn't like thaaaaat loud it was bearable but you could still hear it with headphones on while watching RUclips for example. When I first got it before readjusting the fan meter. I genuinely looked out of the window trying to see who's mowing the lawn 😂 then I found out it's the cooler lol googled up and apparently more people had the exact same thing hahahah but after a custom fan speed meter it was okay-ish. You DO know, that Air coolers also use Liquid, right? And you do know, that Liquid coolers do use Fans on their Radiators ? I have also had Liquid coolers, that were louder, than my Air cooled Pcs....

Hahahaha yes I do know that air coolers use liquid, and that liquid coolers do use fans on their radiators. It is very surprising to hear that your liquid coolers are more noisy than you air coolers. You must have some really good air coolers then😊 My air coolers are as loud as an airplane😅😅

Hahahaha yes, I do know some people that have spend over $1000 on liquid coolers. It is true that you can get an AIO liquid cooler for a cheaper price, but I thought I rather should exaggerate the price than under exaggerate it😊😊 By the way, I’m from Norway❤
