Absolutely my 2001 Deville and 2006 DTS hands down best vehicles, will keep buying old school Cadillac as long as they are around with reasonably miles on them. Haven't found a new car I'm as excited about as these classics.
@@Forge17 01 Deville was a bit more comfortable also even softer of a ride I had the DTS model. That said the 06 DTS is way more reliable and has fewer "Cadillac only parts" so it's much more affordable to fix. The 06 really worked out a lot of the very small issues the last-gen Deville had. I would buy either just depends on the price and condition. That's really the key with Cadillac's if you take care of them from the beginning you'll be okay, but if you get one that has had a hard life you have to spend time and money to resolve all those issues right when you get it.
i have no idea why cadillac discontinued this car. this car was what cadillac was known for. the suspension is so smooth. no car ride feels like that. it was like driving a boat
The ones that have made it well past that range have already had all the work done by someone else!!! 😉 This was an old man owner and he took excellent care of it. He passed away which is why the car was promoted for sale.

How does your 01 Deville compare with the newer model 06 DTS?

Hi did you ever have to change something in the suspension to get rid of noise ?? Thanks ,great car . I have a DTS but yours is better looking .
I do not believe this car had ever had any suspension changes. Rode like you were floating in a cirrus cloud on top of a pile of cotton!
I’m thinking about getting a 04 Cadillac

Should have Did a startup too!! 🥺
Watch the walkaround video that’s on the channel right next to that one and you’ll see and hear the engine in that one!
@@NSLTC I meant with the gauges I wanted to see a startup screen sequence basically.
NAT BAD JAST BOT 1 FOR 3’500.
They are fun to drive
Rather have Lincoln TC, or even Mercury Grand Marquis
I don’t disagree....check out my 1997 (currently own) and 1989 LTC videos on my channel! I owned the 89 twice!!!!
I have a loaded 2000 Deville but I agree the Lincoln is a far superior car.
1990s DeVille were better
I do have to admit that I love a 1990-1993 Deville and particularly a Coupe Deville Biarritz.
@@beegee495 94-95 was the best when it had the 4.9 and not the Dreaded Northstar engine
@@beegee495 right
