I have one -- bought it in 2010 from a friend for $7500. It had 100,000 miles on it then. Now it has 249,000, and I still love it! Best car I have ever had. Sorry they don't make this model any more -- it was IMHO, the finest of the luxury cars ever made by Cadillac -- unfortunately, none of the present ones hold a candle to it.
Thanks for the ride-along! I bought a 07 DTS with 66k in 11/20 for $6k & it was one of the best car buying decisions I ever made. Absolutely love the V8 power along with the ride & design.
My Friend, you've been a great help; you've helped me find the source of the clicking noise in my 2006 Cadillac DTS. It turned out it were the Jounce Bushings, they were dry. So, I greased them with White Lithium Grease; and the problem was fixed. My Friend, when you open the hood, right where the struts are; the jounce bushings are there, all you have to do is grease them, providing they're in good condition and unworn.
@cherokeegotti4903 Hey okay that's Good News still running Smooth. Plus she will be getting work done by your Friend. I think I am going to stop be Cheap and buy another one 😹. Thx for getting back to me Cherokeegotti.
@@cooldaddyiceburg i miss mine. I had to move back to France. I sold it for $5000. DTS 2008, only 69000 miles on it. Before selling it, I changed the front struts, the fuel pump and some other little stuffs at a Cadillac dealership. I couldn't ship it to France. It was too expensive (shipment, tax, modifications to meet the European specifications...) 😢
Even though they changed the head studs and bolts in 2004, Im constantly watching my temp gauge in my 2008, since the Northstar was known for overheating. I was watching his in the first part of the video. Lol
Where does your temperature run at ? Can you post a picture of it thanks ! Mine runs where the bottom on the needle it touching half I think that’s what I seen from your video wasn’t for sure is why I’m asking Thanks again !
The air suspension is great till the iner and outer tire rod goes out plus and the bushing goes out naturally as the air suspension breaks in after you fix that problem the air suspension goes out wish the life of the parts balance out at the same time but it was enjoyable the first 80k
Air suspensions can only last so long......they don’t last forever! After all, it is a rubber billow filled with air that is constantly changing how much air is in it!

just got my 2008 DTS today ! McLovin it !
Same!
Same
I’m thinking about getting one of these with 125,000 miles from the dealership for $7300
I currently have a 2007 Cadillac CTS to replace a timing chain oil pump fuel pump Calais converter with 170,000 miles
But the 2007 Cadillac is too small for two kids in a car seat
Thanks , I went out and bought one 07 with 33k and love it . I was thinking of a Town Car but it was the looks that made the difference .!!
Funny I just bought a 06 3 month's ago never been smoked in and I love it rides like a cloud
A great ride and video...thank you. I'm going to purchase one this year!!!

is it normal for the temp gauge to me above the middle .... in these particular DTS ????
Mine has 203,000 miles and is still silky smooth
Question I see your Comment with your cadillac dts with 203k do you still have it? I saw one for sale with 115k on. Thx
@@zbrown2344 yeah. I still have. My best friend is actually gone to work in it. She still runs solid

What year is Lincoln Town Car you appreciate ?
And what area is the one you were driving through? Looks beautiful.
Why is the engine temp on these all kinda high?
Nice still available?
I had one. And I was focused on the needle of the temparature gauge. Should be right in the middle. But it's never right in the middle.
yep.. 07 here. She runs just a tad over. Drips a little oil..And I love her too death.

@@cooldaddyiceburg The DTS is more impressive than Brigitte Bardot.
"La Reine de la route" (Queen of the road) would be better 😉

How are the speakers?
What's the percentage of 2006 dts have the the shifter on the floor?
I believe a DTS “Deville Touring Sedan” is on the floor. The DHS is on the column as it usually is a bench seat. DTS is usually bucket seating.

Why can I hear my suspension ??
Not feeling the impala/Buick interior on this caddy
Its a Lucerne with a Cadillac emblem lol
@@fairfax_fran5109 Lucerne had a steering wheel as big as a Ferris wheel, tho. Lol. Only thing I remember about the interior.
Why is it not as comfy as the Town Car ??
It’s just different......the seats aren’t as comfortable or thick for one.....they are both great cars, this is just different than a Lincoln is all.
