Reva was my mother and she was a terrific woman. What a sweet, comment for you to make. She was such an animated happy wonderful person and she sang and danced through life. Between her and my Dad it made life in our house wonderful. Thank you again for making such a sweet comment about my mom. I’m glad she won too 😊👍🏻
When Reva won, it was great that her husband and Grand daughter came up to be with her. She did great 👍. Best thing was that she ended up with most of her winnings in Cash.
Mike, this is also the last episode with $2000 in #10 in R2, as well as the last taping of the show in May 1984. If you notice, at about 13:28, Peter says "It's late in the day". As I mentioned before, episodes #190-#194 were taped the same day, as were episodes #185-#189.
The rare situation where leading after round 1 where you pass to the leader, hope s/he Whammys with one spin remaining after that Whammy, and then passes onto the other player and hope s/he Whammys to have a three-way tie at $0. The same odds as rolling snake eyes at craps, but its still more likely than going for it yourself with limited remaining spins (5 or less).
I’m so glad Reva won 😀

She played with good strategy.
@@fiddlesticksgalore If she still alive?

Love at 17:06 Wes is jokingly saying "Whammy!" Then Reva turns to him and says "Wes!" Lol
Sandi was a contestant on "Super Password" about two years later.
Philip Cousin that I remembered
I actually thought that Reva was going to get into the Hall Of Fame right here.
She did. The hall of fame for losers.
Only $172 away....Even though she lost the next day, $24,828 is certainly something to be proud of

You can hardly hear the music when Reva won the game.
If Reva had taken 1 more spin and avoided the whammy, she would have been in the hall of fame in 1 day.
Trevor Panno Do you remember how many players made it into the Hall Of Fame on 1 day?
@@markheying2830 There appear to be four: Becky Steeler, Michael Larson, and the other two are still to come.
I thought it was much better she had a chance at a second payday.
Becky Steeler, Michael Larson, Colleen Cozi and Toni Root are the names of those four.
The best spin battle
?? I didn't think there was much of one, check out the Cathy/Lori version it's much better :)
Last episode of the original, a.k.a. “Larson” patterns
And this is the last episode where the contestants zoom in after he or she buzzes in.
I bet Sandi couldn’t believe there was a lot of money between Wes and Reva.

If there were a $25,000 space, that would have been great for Sandi.
Sandi hardly had a chance to play as she played last.
Indeed; this is a textbook example of when playing last is the DISadvantageous position.
She should have earned more spins...
I wonder if Reva also figured out the pattern in some of her spins.
No!, she did not. She just played the game fairly.
@@fiddlesticksgalore guessing a pattern is fair. Knowing ehento stop in round 2 helps
why does Reva remind me of Mrs Doubtfire ??
Because dear that is a man.
I was saying the same thing
@@iwanaGoFast2010 no she's a large boned woman

Heh heh! "I think our whole staff lost their marbles!" What kind of recent trauma could have prompted that remark?
