  • Today I want to discuss which elements in your mix should be either mono or stereo, techniques and some strategies for percussion, synths, etc. Feel free to break and bend the rules but there are some foundations that are consistent across the majority of EDM / Big Room bangers out there, enjoy!

Hi, when I do the Mid Side EQ it's like turning the mono knob to 50% so it doesn't work if I turn the mono knob all the way. how to have the same stereo sound but in mono without phase problem, because when I listen to my mix on an android it sounds bad because of the mono and when I listen to other professional mixes on android, I have the impression that it sounds like in stereo

Thnx for sharing Iv picked up some good advice and tbh u inspired me with new ideas ,
I repeat that ur effort is much Appreciated , though the video length is really gonna push ppl away, and -no offence- I actually found after watching the whole thing with much attention it's clear that u could ve explained all of this in less than half time, it will also affect ur views etc...
    Love n Respect bro ,
Keep it up, and towards a musical revolution

You can see that you have always worked only on DAWs, if you used an ANALOG console in this way it would have exploded in your hands! The bass and the grand drum ALWAYS and ONLY in MONO !!! And do you know why? When printing vinyls, if you "fired" in stereo the kick and bass, the groove was too light and "not incisive" (obviously this is one of the reasons), however I got tired of these bedroom "Gurus"! But then with sta EDM it's easy to make sounds, there are 4 or 5 elements! The greatest difficulty is to separate the layers of the same synth (which you will then understand that difficulty, one plays at -12, the other level at 0 and the third at 24 semitones, fuck how hard!) Try to make a mix of techno years' 90 or 2000, and then we talk about it, Christ!
