My Dad loves this song.. on every devotional we had,we always used to sing this to praise God. Now,its feel empty that we had to sing this without him.. its been a week since he passed..he died of heart disease and diabetes.. God bless you Karen. I am the Mom who was with her daughter as she died of breast cancer that went to her brain. I want to tell you something that is very sacred to me. On Amy's last day on earth, after she had not been able to speak for a day or two, she began beating time with her arms like someone leading a choir. I asked her if she was hearing angels sing and she nodded , "Yes." She had the most beautiful smile on her face - free of pain - and full of peace and joy. It was a wonderful gift from God to witness this wonderful transformation happening to my daughter during that very tough time. She had a son who was 11 mo old to the day. But I know she is with the Lord and that comfort can't be compared to anything else on this earth. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom and your family. I can't wait to see her again and it seems as if that Great Day is coming soon!

Very touchable song prause the lord.
This really takes me back, to a modest church building in eastern Kentucky in the late 1960s, where as a small boy I would sit on a pew, following along with these words in the songbook, enthralled by the waving arm, expressive face and rich tenor of the song leader with the unlikely first name of 'Tunis'. My favorite lyric was the 'sweeping up to Glory' part, as it gave me the mental picture of being on some kind of heavenly roller coaster. Plus Tunis, who had perhaps missed his calling in musical theater, would sing that line, leaning forward with an infectious energy and expressiveness that caused the congregation's volume level to increase by a few decibels! Fond memories!
Tunis hitched a ride on that roller coaster just a few years later. But his leading of the singing left an indelible impression on me, and made my life the richer for his contribution to it! Thank you, Brother Tunis!

A good diet and exercise and getting into the fresh air and sunlight is helpful as well. That helped me immensely when I was going through depression and ultimately out of it.

This was my granny's favorite hymn of all time! She was born in 1895 and died in 1970. Thanks for posting this version where I can harmonize along. I learned how play piano and sing in church. The Baptist Hymnal was my textbook lol

How can this be?
Could the gemstones of New Jerusalem cited at Revelation 21 contain the treasure we are looking for?
I propose they can and do reveal the treasure of the healing consciousness for Healing for All Nations and Heaven on Earth as promised by God who is Love through The Whole Spirit of Love Anointed, namely Jesus Christ, Amen.
I also use my God given inspired poetry for God's glory to recognise the intricacy and wonderful beauty of life that is here on Earth in many forms. When we can connect with true beauty with Love we can find appreciation and Grace. When we can connect with Grace we are blessed with Faith and Faith gives Hope for Life.
Faith, the assured expectation of the things hoped for, the evident demonstration of things not yet beheld. Hebrews 11:1. The ultimate Positive psychology.
Hope not stress, worry or fear. We are saved through Grace and Faith, thanks giving and hope, gratitude.

We are created with the ability to heal through Love in accord with God's Love made whole and One in us through Jesus Christ, Amen.
