WOW it's been over a decade since we made this film. It so heartwarming to see how much folks appreciate this movie now, then when it first was released. I love reading how people enjoyed that it was meant to be campy and pay tribute to the wonderful classic films made. This was def one of the funniest times I ever had on set, and stayed close with most of my cast mates and crew. I still laugh watching myself deliver some of those lines.
You were great in this film and it looks like it was loads of fun to make! I purchased it from Amazon when it was first released. Bootleg copies of the DVD have gone for ridiculous money on ebay, so I put it here to try to save folks a few bucks. If it's ever re-released or gets a streaming deal I will take it down. All the best to you and everyone else that was involved.

Someone give this to Hollywood. This is a throwback to the Universal movies of old. Well done and incredibly entertaining.
I really appreciate what the film makers were trying to do here and the effort involved on a low budget.
The monster's makeup was priceless! Just goes to show what can be done with a low budget and lotsa' love for the genre.

This was a thrilling and campy homage to classic horror films. Like a Funhouse ride at the Carnival, "House of the Wolfman" was a sweet escape into vintage Nostalgia! You might even say, a blast from the past! I think everyone had fun making this movie and I want to see more. You got my subscription.
I love this classic cult movie,by Ron Chaney!! I met him at the Fangoria Convention at O'Hare International Airport/O'Hare Hilton Hotel and I was able to purchase this movie , years ago!!! But, most of all I am glad that you uploaded the film!!! Awesome!!! Chicago, USA!!! New Subscriber!!!

A love letter to the classic Universal monster movies of the 30s/40s.
I just happen to come across this today. The movie itself was excellent but the ending with the monsters was PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was better than anything coming out of Hollywood these days.
I felt like I was a kid again watching Dr Shock's Mad Theatre.
That actor playing Conrad has great comedic timing.
Everything from screenwriting editing to set design lighting costumes makeup was Fantastic! The acting was a little distracting but did not take away from the overall integrity of the film. It was a lot of fun to watch, a nice Tip o the Hat to the 30s and 40s Classics. 🎸🎸🎸❤️

Mr. Thomas did a great job with the role of Dracula and it saddened me to read the credits of his passing; his work lives on.

This is an AWESOME tribute to the old Universal Studios monster movies ( you write better dialogue than Siodmack but you need a little bit of comedy to humanize your characters).

Very good movie. I like the black and white homage to Universal studios movie monsters i.e. Dracula Wolf Man Frankenstein. It was a good twist in the end when they see the Wolf Man and cool to see him fighting Frankenstein. Love the Dracula actor here Michael R. Thomas. Great suspense and build up to the ending. Love the castle set the music costumes and acting. Some of the script/actors lines were a little campy silly but then again we have to remember this is a little like a parody of a classic horror movie as well. "Life is short but death is long" could have been spoken plainly or in a spooky voice rather than that silly singing voice lol Loved this movie!!!

I love the descendant of Lon Chaney is the lead role and the film is so similar to the films his grandfather were in. Doesn't even feel like it was made in 2009.

I didn’t even know this movie existed until tonight and it really looks like it was made back in the Lon Chaney days, the makeups are brilliant.
Imagine watching this on the silver screen back in the day, would have been brilliant.
It started off slow but it seems I couldn't stop watching and now I'm glad I did very good movie indeed 💯

Good to see a movie with Lon Chaney Jr's Grandson Ron. I want to see if the apple falls close to the tree! Ok, it was a bit on the Ed Wood side, but...it was a nod to the old Universal monster movies, so...
Oh, and Larry Talbot's walking stick was a great nod! My nephew has a replica of it!
When the African guys eyes 👀 went wide open it reminded me of the dead end kids horror episode so many classic movie references great job

AWesome!! SOOOO much better than the crap modern Hollywood is only capable of making today. Even the low budget indie film makers today are a bunch of no-talent brain-washed hacks. This was so perfect, just the right amount of camp balanced with classic horror wrapped in the 1930s "Old Dark House" story. Only highly skilled people who respect the source material could have made this.👍👍👍

Loved the creature from the black lagoon hand thrown in for good effects!!!
The beginning of this film has some parts/scenes that evoke the classic horror movies first in the beginning when the siblings where sitting in the car with rain made me think of Boris Karloff in Old Dark House, followed by the brother and sister standing side by side in the house reminded of the couple in Rocky Horror Picture Show as well. Last but not least the man screaming at the two guys in the rain was reminiscent of Lon Chaney in The Alligator People. I bet if i continue watching i might see a lot more scenes that would Memories of the old classic Universal horror films.
I have to admit this was a fair tribute to the old gothic classics well worth the laughs

I recommend the DVD/Blu-ray set called The Wolf Man: The Legacy Collection. It has the original seven films in the Wolf Man series: The Wolf Man, Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, House of Frankenstein, House of Dracula, Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein, Werewolf of London, & She-Wolf of London.

Makes you appreciate professional actors. But that fight scene at the end was much better than in the original movie
This was very well done, especially the beginning with the storm, the night, the castle and the monsters, the black and white filming added a great touch.I'd like to see Ron do a black and white version of House On Haunted Hill.

As an expert opinion giver i must say that this would have been even better without the campyness, but even so, i enjoyed this tremendously. Loved the Julianna Margulies look alike, she was purdy.
That was a wonderful homage to the Universal horror films. The photography and lighting were so impressive as with the actors' performances too.
The Universal Horror films terrified AND fascinated me when I was a kid. I've got the 'box sets'. Love them to this day. I Always will.

This movie is truly a masterpiece! Unlike Hollywood they take an old classic and totally destroy it, trying to make money off of an old idea! these people made a classic movie and it is ORIGINAL! We need more productions like this so Hollywood can go down the tubes which is where it has belonged for the past 20+ years!!!!!

I had my doubts. Not Lon Chaney, not Lon Chaney Jr. but Ron Chaney. However, it was a pleasant surprise and true to the likes of the original Frankenstein and The Wolfman, two of my favorites.

A brilliant mockey/tribute of/to the Universal monster movies of the 1930s and 1940s, particularly the later movies. The Wolfman vs Frankenstein's monster fight was great.
Very interesting concept of a modern day rendition.Makes me wonder if in reality would it be that difficult to return to an Era like that.

Only a few minutes into the movie and im already drawn into it. Reminds me of the monster movies my brother and i used to watch on ch 2 wbbm out of chicago in the early 60s.

Well worth the watch. That first clear shot of Frankenstein's monster was absolute gold. Great make up work & with a look gave the monster such depth, such pathos. (And a "holy sh!t! Open the damned & let me the F out of here!" Look)

Very cool retro horror and just a blast amazed I did not know about it till now.
I bought the DVD a few years ago. I was expecting it to be bad, like "Manos the Hands of Fate" bad. I was pleasantly surprised. To be sure, it's not a great movie - it drags for a while, and the ending seems rushed (it's like the director said "Hey, we're almost out of money! Gotta wrap this up!). But it has an interesting premise and the actors are pretty good. And it does kind of capture the atmosphere of those old movies.
