What's blowing my mind is that David Montgomery's not even on that list

He’s in an odd situation. He is viewed as a grinder and GLB. Those guys never tend to get a lot of love short of the fantasy community. Monty has been a hammer for this team. But this isn’t about role players, it’s players who can take over the game.
If you watch JT or CMC regularly, you see they can literally carry 25 times for 205 yards and 4 TDs on the day.
I would take them over either Lion if I wanted points. But each lions back is a really good role player.

@@thomaswatkins3686CMC has only rushed 25 times or more 4 times in 98 NFL games including the post season. So he can't literally run it 25 times. Also he's never run for 200 yards in a game... Did you know Al Bundy scored 4 touchdowns in one game once.

    Gibbs had 945 in rushing.
    Bijan had 976.
    T. Allgeier. 683.
    David Montgomery. 1015.
Gibbs missed a few games and still killed it. Just wait for this year. BSPN always makes it so its Detroit Vs Everyone. 💥💙

Weren’t you the dude who completed omitted TA a couple weeks ago in another emotional rambling about how Gibbs was so amazing and Bijan was largely unchallenged?
You create these silly DVE things and your arguments implode on themselves.
I get it. You’re a fan. But you can also be educated and rational and understand there’s no media bias toward the FREAKING ATLANTA FALCONS. You’re angry Detroit isn’t universally at the top of every best of list. And that’s fair because they aren’t that great at many things yet.

You have no idea what you’re talking about and we have to watch you gibber on and on. If you don’t like what they say ( just move on) Tommy Boy. What have you done that makes you the best fan ( whatever team I like) that makes comments. I have never attacked you. You probably sit around and just rag on people who likes other teams than you. once he takes 80% of the snaps, people will have questions. as lions fan we know he is HIM. but we have the best Oline in the league, any RB that is good would run over 1K yards behind our line.

I know some people keep saying we need another reciever but unless we can get a cheap tall fast deep threat. I would stick with what we have. Maybe a little thin at reciever but both our backs have good hands and get some short routes. And with Laporta we should be good

  • @vinsanity82

So if it's the offense that he's in, why is Christian #1? The O weapons on the 49'rs are at least comparable to that of the Lions even if not as playoff battle tested. Don't get me wrong here, I do think he's #1. It's just, you can't say the guy at 8 had a good season because of the offense he's in playing with the players around him, when the #1 has weapons everywhere on his team.

    • @thomaswatkins3686
      @thomaswatkins3686 13 дней назад

      Because CMC is the catalyst
      Gibbs is a cog.
If you took out CMC the 49ers offense is horrible. The Lions run Monty and he looks great as does everyone else.
