How to install update:
1. After you've downloaded the file for your amp ,extract it in a folder. You should have 2 files (.bin and .txt)
2. Plug the Katana into power, press the CH1 and PANEL buttons simultaneously and turn the power ON
3. Lights should start blinking, then connect the Katana to your computer using the USB cable
4. Katana should pop up as a window on your desktop, then just drag and drop those two files in that folder.
5. After the files have been moved, eject the Katana as a drive, then UNPLUG the USB cable.
6. Press the blinking PANEL button, and wait for the process.
7. Once all the lights are green and flashing, it means the updating process is done.
Turn the power off, and you're done!
8. Turn it on, and enjoy!

Updated the firmware turned off the amp , mistake got it going not sync up with amp sound to mic 🎤 configured now it works thanks oh I see katana folder after I click on the computer e drive sounds easy not for unsavvy me

Hi, I have a problem with installing the driver for windows 10, did you encounter the same problem and if so how did you go about it?

My Katana has never seen a usb cable yet. Just don't see the need for all that computer stuff. The amp sounds just fine like it is. I only use the reverb delay and chorus on this amp. I keep it on clean channel and use a Fulltone OCD Overdrive for my dirt sound.Great amp

Nigel Williams Not aware of the bug, but I am updated to 3.01. The download link will automatically be the most updated version. What was the bug?
My katana mk2 wont go into update mode. All the effects and channel lights flash, anyone know what to do?

@@lasse5115 yes that worked. Thx. Would have been nice if the store I brought it from advised me that it might need a firmware update and also roland need to sort out their trouble shooting info.
