Oh whew, I was thinking, ‘what planet is he on?’ Actually, with all the dance practices, behind the scenes, it’s more like 250! When I first started I didn’t want to miss a thing, since I can’t remember what I did the day before, I would never remember which ones I saw, so I just started at the beginning and went down the line song by song. That way I didn’t have to ask the question ‘have I seen this one yet?’ 😀

Also, the guys are getting ready for their first concerts in Korea, in over 2 years, almost 3 years. But unfortunately, covid is still rearing its ugly head, and the Permission To Dance concerts, are now, No Permission To Dance ! The restrictions being put on these concerts is ridiculous. No singing, cheering, fan chants, dancing, no standing ! They must remain sitting and quiet ! Suga has dubbed them the “silent concerts”. And they only are allowing 15 thousand people! Jin said they are losing money doing these concerts, but they are happy to do it for their fans. Frankly, I do not think it will be possible to remain sitting and quiet for a three hour BTS concert, but we will see how it turns out. As far as the dance practices go, there are multiple versions due to the many performances. They seldom do the exact choreography twice. They are always making it different for the various shows, concerts, videos, and award shows. Well, since I can’t remember what else I had to say, I will rewatch this and see if I have more to add. 💜💜💜
Abt the Soeul concert...yeah its a kinda sad. But to know that your fav artist is making a loss but still doing a concert for their fans is very² emotional for me !! They can have multiple choreographies for the same song they may use one for the video and others for live performances etc. You have barley scratched the surface. You have the live performances, the awards shows, Burn the Stage, Rise of Bangtan, Bon voyage, In the Soop, American Hustle life, Festas, and more Individual projects from the members and mix tapes. Don’t be scared to just click on a video it might be the same song you have already heard but has a different feel or interpretation because of where its being performed. BTS can offer a master class on reinvention and growth of artistry and fan engagement. No matter how many times I watch or listen to them I get the same excited anticipation as I did the first time. They make me smile they inspire me and they give me hope for the future. The BTS rabbit hole is not a straight tunnel with a set destination it winds and turns sometimes repeats but never gets dull and you will always see, hear or learn something new about the members or more importantly about yourself. Siiiiiir I've been deep diving into their stuff for like almost four years and I'm still coming across stuff I've never seen before, hundreds of performances and songs. It's CRAZY... Not too mention the other content not even related to their music!

I so very much appreciate all the effort and time you put into your reactions Ros, please feel free to take more breaks whenever you need to! 💜 for you recognizing V's voice, pretty soon you'll be able to know who it is as soon as you see a silhouette or a single hair on their head 😆 The "we are now going to progress to some steps which are bit more difficult, ready set begin" sample that you heard in that BTS Intro is actually from a legendary korean rap group called Epik High that BTS grew up listening to and admiring. In Epik High's first album Map Of The Human Soul, their first song "Go" uses that sample. So BTS using that same sample for their own first album is most definitely a nod to Epik High, their idols. Since you specifically said you liked that Intro, you'll probably like Go by Epik High, it has a very old school feel. RM and Suga have said that Epik High inspired them to become rappers, and they specifically have cited the song Fly by Epik High as an inspiration. Other older Epik High albums are "Map The Soul", "Remixing The Human Soul" and "Remapping The Human Soul".......BTS's album "Map Of The Soul 7" title is based on a book about Carl Jung called "Jung's Map Of The Soul", but it is also definitely a nod to old Epik High albums that inspired them. I know you're not interested in looking into other groups right now, but if you ever feel inclined to check them out on your own time, you might like Epik High. Their older songs have a very old-school rap feel, and once you hear their songs, you can hear a lot of Epik High style "sounds" in many BTS songs. Suga has even helped to produce one of Epik High's songs Eternal Sunshine.... must have been a dream come true for Suga to eventually work the artist that he grew up admiring. Suga and one of the Epik High rappers (Tablo) even work on songs for other artists together. For example, Suga did a song called Song Request with singer Lee Sora - Tablo helped to write and produce it. Epik High consists of 2 rappers (Tablo and Mithra) and 1 DJ (DJ Tukutz). Tablo graduated from Stanford University with honors in English literature and creative writing. A great rapper, super smart and a great lyricist like RM, and a great producer like Suga. After he graduated, he moved to Korea and started Epik High. Tablo wrote a song called "Pieces Of You" for his father, with whom he had a strained relationship with. His father died not too long after the song came out. Mithra wrote his own verse for the song, maybe dedicating it to his own father, but the song overall is for Tablo's father. Roscoe, there are 200+ songs, and that is besides the live performances and all the extra videos. Solo mixtapes, whole albums, whole albums in the right order cause it all connects, the BU, their variety shows, funny videos. It can go as long as you want it :) If you continue at this pace, you'll get through it in about a year or maybe two. But personally, I keep coming back to songs, albums, and realizing new things. Once you go through their inspirations, literature, influences and inspirations, it all starts to be even more incredible. Really, everything is deliberate

Btw, those body rolls are the ones I was referring to, when you promised me you would do them in Beat Saber 😳😏😏😏….. hope you are practicing. Also, the guys are getting ready for their first concerts in Korea, in over 2 years, almost 3 years. But unfortunately, covid is still rearing its ugly head, and the Permission To Dance concerts, are now, No Permission To Dance ! The restrictions being put on these concerts is ridiculous. No singing, cheering, fan chants, dancing, no standing ! They must remain sitting and quiet ! Suga has dubbed them the “silent concerts”. And they only are allowing 15 thousand people! Jin said they are losing money doing these concerts, but they are happy to do it for their fans. Frankly, I do not think it will be possible to remain sitting and quiet for a three hour BTS concert, but we will see how it turns out.
As far as the dance practices go, there are multiple versions due to the many performances. They seldom do the exact choreography twice. They are always making it different for the various shows, concerts, videos, and award shows.
Well, since I can’t remember what else I had to say, I will rewatch this and see if I have more to add. 💜💜💜
Abt the Soeul concert...yeah its a kinda sad. But to know that your fav artist is making a loss but still doing a concert for their fans is very² emotional for me !!

To think that is the 1st track on their 1st mini ep fresh out the gate. This is what drew my attention to what is BTS. They understand the sounds we Gen Xs that were into hip-hop & r&b grew up on & fueled us. Their eps have Intros, Outros, & Skits. Other than rap artist like Snoop & Eminem & those guys who does that anymore.

They can have multiple choreographies for the same song they may use one for the video and others for live performances etc. You have barley scratched the surface. You have the live performances, the awards shows, Burn the Stage, Rise of Bangtan, Bon voyage, In the Soop, American Hustle life, Festas, and more Individual projects from the members and mix tapes. Don’t be scared to just click on a video it might be the same song you have already heard but has a different feel or interpretation because of where its being performed. BTS can offer a master class on reinvention and growth of artistry and fan engagement. No matter how many times I watch or listen to them I get the same excited anticipation as I did the first time. They make me smile they inspire me and they give me hope for the future. The BTS rabbit hole is not a straight tunnel with a set destination it winds and turns sometimes repeats but never gets dull and you will always see, hear or learn something new about the members or more importantly about yourself. The "we are now going to progress to some steps which are bit more difficult, ready set begin" sample that you heard in that BTS Intro is actually from a legendary korean rap group called Epik High that BTS grew up listening to and admiring. In Epik High's first album Map Of The Human Soul, their first song "Go" uses that sample. So BTS using that same sample for their own first album is most definitely a nod to Epik High, their idols. Since you specifically said you liked that Intro, you'll probably like Go by Epik High, it has a very old school feel. RM and Suga have said that Epik High inspired them to become rappers, and they specifically have cited the song Fly by Epik High as an inspiration.
Other older Epik High albums are "Map The Soul", "Remixing The Human Soul" and "Remapping The Human Soul".......BTS's album "Map Of The Soul 7" title is based on a book about Carl Jung called "Jung's Map Of The Soul", but it is also definitely a nod to old Epik High albums that inspired them.
I know you're not interested in looking into other groups right now, but if you ever feel inclined to check them out on your own time, you might like Epik High. Their older songs have a very old-school rap feel, and once you hear their songs, you can hear a lot of Epik High style "sounds" in many BTS songs. Suga has even helped to produce one of Epik High's songs Eternal Sunshine.... must have been a dream come true for Suga to eventually work the artist that he grew up admiring. Suga and one of the Epik High rappers (Tablo) even work on songs for other artists together. For example, Suga did a song called Song Request with singer Lee Sora - Tablo helped to write and produce it.
Epik High consists of 2 rappers (Tablo and Mithra) and 1 DJ (DJ Tukutz).
Tablo graduated from Stanford University with honors in English literature and creative writing. A great rapper, super smart and a great lyricist like RM, and a great producer like Suga. After he graduated, he moved to Korea and started Epik High.
Tablo wrote a song called "Pieces Of You" for his father, with whom he had a strained relationship with. His father died not too long after the song came out. Mithra wrote his own verse for the song, maybe dedicating it to his own father, but the song overall is for Tablo's father. In the Mic Drop live performance....the boys switch out Suga's mic before he does the drop at the end. They also do a similar mic switch when Jimin and J-Hope do stunts.... just some fun facts....
And Jin actually does the sound effect for the Mic Drop since SUGA’s mic is a dead/off mic that falls to the ground.

Roscoe, there are 200+ songs, and that is besides the live performances and all the extra videos. Solo mixtapes, whole albums, whole albums in the right order cause it all connects, the BU, their variety shows, funny videos. It can go as long as you want it :) If you continue at this pace, you'll get through it in about a year or maybe two.
But personally, I keep coming back to songs, albums, and realizing new things. Once you go through their inspirations, literature, influences and inspirations, it all starts to be even more incredible. Really, everything is deliberate
