Removing the carpet and installing a wood/vinyl floor will save you time and headaches. Especially if you are in sandy areas. I have an 02 E150 and it cost me less than 100 bucks. A roof fan is another great idea. Great video, you will enjoy having a van.
As much as I don't want to cut a hole in the roof it will probably happen anyway

Q,u didn't latch Travis door.... I'd probably eased over there for the Sriracha 😊!! Definitely a power converter ,my brother had 1 in highschool.. like I said.. oh boy!! He had a dodge,3 on the tree, double kick out side doors, a home stereo system + TV 12" black and white!!!😂 It was the mid 80's 82!!!! Break dancing cardboard mat in the back + a bed!!!😂 Good times!!!

Get some in track auto vent shades for the drivers & passenger side windows. They are awesome. I put them on my van, I can crack the windows & no one knows.
I would suggest not tearing down the walls. It's a custom van, so usually it's thin vaneer with some insulation underneath.
Over the windows, I have a video, although there are many online, on using reflectix taped onto coroplast that I cut to fit in my windows. It really keeps the window heat out from the sun. Also provides better privacy. I keep them in my back 2 side windows all of the time. You could do cut outs on them for your bottom window screens for ventilation. The rest of my windows, I just cut reflectix to fit & keep it rolled up when not in use.

Mike you had me crackin up when you were all jammed up at the top of the train tracks. Couldn’t decide if you wanted your chair, weren’t sure how to go about getting down and then you were pissed that it was steep and on the rocks lol. That was a moment of self reflection for me lol. I get all mentally jammed up over dumb stuff like that sometimes and then I get pissed

Literally living in a van down by the river. I almost bought that Eagle Claw combo a few days ago but bought the Ugly Stik Dock Runner instead. Travis is quite the snorer. LOL
my son has a dock runner. solid little set up! bang for buck both are nice little rods to leave in the van/ truck

Van conversion seat swap is possible. The second row armchair might be able to swap with front drivers seat. It gives you armrests on both sides. Heard you wanted armrests on both sides. Just an idea might work. Good luck with the build. 😊

You should look into a batwing awning , Would cover the side and back doors !Very cool and I've seen slide out storage which run under the bed and out the back doors ! Storage is a bitch in a van . I'm sure what ever you do will be cool !

You could get a couple of those aporn bags with lots of pockets and hang them on the back of your seats, just an idea for some storage tips! 😊
Ok, so double everything..have one container of your utensils ,paper towels, toilet paper,g lighters, etc....whatever you use and need..when truck starts running..keep one in both....have one food container keep in your house and your ice chest..that's all you'll have to bring ..things like fishing poles, etc
You should look up people who basically built a futon in the back part of the van and try that. That way while ur awake you basically have a couch and can pull it out into a bed at night

Yo, Great to see you back on the road again Mike!! Good times in good time vans. Yall ever try using hot dog weiner for bait.? Cut in sections or lengthwise strips, in zip lock bag with red powder cool aid(cherry/strawberry 5/$1 packet kind) & some cayenne powder. It'll stain the sht outta your fingers, but works Great for catchin fish if can't find worms/shrimp for bait. Plus if dont catch no fish you still got 4 or 5 dogs for dinner. ❤ you bro.
