By far the best review video I've watched since I started researching ebikes about 19 mths, 2 wks, and 4 days ago! You cover everything from top to bottom including financing. I'm actually relieved that I found this on youtube. It has helped me delete 4 brands off of my list of 6. I'm currently "on the fence" on deciding between Delfast or Bitrix. I really would like to be able to place an order for the new Bitrix XD Dual Chain (the website lists it on backorder with no real data on how long it may take). The FS Pro is a beautiful second choice for Bitrix. I have been communicating with a Delfast rep in LA who tells me they just recrived a large shipment (I hope Bitrix posts info like that as it happens). Anyway, I've had bikes and motorcycles my whole life. I'm currently a retired US Army Paratrooper and now a full time care provider for a family member. I haven't been able to ride anything but a stationary bike for the last 22 months because she requires alot of assistance for basically everything. But, I've made some adjustments and ready to start riding again real soon. I want to find out if Bitrix offers any type of military discount or if they may have any type of sales/discounts in the near future, I've given you a thumbs up for an OUTSTANDING REVIEW, I'm subscribing so I can find more of your reviews. Thanks for ALL of the info, the great scenery, the trail beside the river, and explaining things so that they are easy to understand.
Wow you are a good man who served and continues to sacrifice by caring for sick family members. I know it's tough because I watched my mom care for my grandma until she (grandma) passed at 90 years old. The last years were hard because she had a stroke and was wheelchair bound. As for delfast....omg...i love that ebike. The power is amazing from what I've seen. It's basically a dirtbike and far more powerful than the biktrix. It would be prohibited on many of the Tahoe trails I've been on sadly. I need to test one!!!!!!
Well, I'm 60 year old and my "just pedal power" bike cost $3K + over 10 years ago. I could keep up with the 30 something crowd up until a few years ago so I lost interest in riding with the groups. My bike is going up for sale and I'm getting one of these so I can keep up with the group on the uphill parts ... I can still shred the downhills just fine!
I’m in the same boat. I’m not far behind you in age. Filipinos hide their age well lol. I love e-bikes because every single one of my bicycle friends dislike e-bikes but they are also younger than me or simply more fit than me. My ebike let’s me hangout with them without getting left behind. One day I’ll be too old to even ride at all even with an ebike … but I’m not there yet.
I have a juggernaut Dual Battery, and it is the best I have ever seen. I built a special rack just for my bikes. I couldn't find one good enough to do the job in my area. I hit Lake Erie bike trails, and Canal Trails. Planning on recording my trips, with trophy Bucks, and fishing off the charts. I know others are going to remember me with U.S. Outdoors, because of the coverage is so multiple interests. All powered by solar charging for everything. I have more fun now than ever as a kid, now pushing mid 60's. Still need a sturdy off road trailer, and a couple drones. Thank you for your info, you did a fine job on this video.
I own this exact bike and 160nm torque beets Bosh 85nm, on sport mode level 5 and I was able to reach 70Km/hr on flat road. I ride this bike on trails and in the winter its just amazing, I lower the tire pressure to about 8psi and can float on the snow in the trails. Awesome bike for climbing hills, max out at 1500Watts and that is just perfect. I purchased the bike in Dec 2021 and road all winter and can do about 90Km on the snow trails on a full charge at level 1 or 2 as you go higher in the assist level ie level 3 to 5 the range decrease but still can do 60Km and that is using the throttle and climbing quite a bit! this bike is 60lbs and you do not feel it, good suspension and braking system, which you absolutely needed when you ride fast. For the summer I set my tire pressure to 20psi (30psi is max psi) and my range gets even better, plenty of range for me.
I had JUST made the purchase of this bike. YES. Lot's of bucks! So I had a little bit of second-guessing. Found this AWESOME review and set my mind at ease. Dude, we should go out for a ride. That trail in truckee looks awesome. I am over in trail city (Redding, CA) and I will now be able to hit those "other" trails, that I shy'd away from before. Wish I would have upgraded to the 4-piston brakes. I did get the higher end cassette as that motor will likely chew up some sprockets. And I did get a rack and the armageddon light. thinking of some bike camping and fishing trips. so this will serve me well. THANKS again! P.S. like you, I am a little more advance in the years haha. still wanna play though! :D
Thank you for an incredibly detailed review of simply high performance ebikes/ebikes in general too. The Juggernaut is an awesome looking bike. I can’t wait to see the newest ebikes coming from Biktrix for 2023.
Best Review of an e-MTB I have ever watched! Great job... And I think this is all around one of the best e-MTB offerings on the market today. I'm going to have to seriously consider getting one although I am more of a mild trail and street riding type rider this bike would definitely encourage me to get onto the trail more often. And with the 27.5 X 3 in tire set up it looks like it would roll just fine on the streets as well... Again, great review my friend!!
I completely agree you can definitely still ride this bike while the battery is dead. Remember set your gearing to your Cadence not your speed. Ride your comfortable Cadence and you will notice you'll be a couple of miles an hour slower than you would be on a lighter bike but it should feel no different. I notice my speed will go from being 13 miles an hour on a gravel track to write at 10 miles an hour once the battery is dead. Mean we are talkin many many many many miles down the track but point is at 100 miles if you need to keep going it's not a problem. You're not going to have to stop dropping all your gear your Speedwell reduce. No big deal
Wow, what a great review. Super detailed commentary. He points out stuff you don't think about as a newb that is really important. Pretty much convinces me to get one.
Wonderful review. Very professional and fun too. I thoroughly enjoyed them multiple times. 🙂 now, I am waiting for the same bike with 4" and 3" tires. Will switch the rubber for 26 x 4" big smoothies in the back and 27.5 x 2.8 schwalbe in front, road versions. Chopper style. Silent, fast and under the radar.😎😉 thanks for sharing, really enjoyed it.💪🚴♂️
EUNORAU SPECTER is this same bike. Also look into the SPECTER ST which is a Step Thru version only available in a 18.5” frame w/27.5”x3” Wheels but you’ll need to upgrade EUNORAU’s stock 180mm Hydraulic Disc Brakes to the 203mm 4piston accessory for an additional $190 but it’s worth the upgrade. The EUNORAU SPECTER ST looks to be a serious on/off road Hunting/Fishing/Camping EBike originally offered last October and only now (August) being shipped out to US customers.
@@mixflipThe company that produces this frame in the bike as a whole unit is called Ansbern. Out of china. Then all the companies add the specifics to the bike to call it their own. I imported this bike directly from china. Identical spec identical everything. Bike was $ 2700 plus $ 600 shipping. My unit was $3370 delivered to my door. Identical spec to this bike. Only mine was A52 Volt 17.5 AM hour battery. Amazing bike at a $1000 less directly from China.
Great video brother great scenery, I'd say you definitely hit every key point of the bike, well done . I'm on my second kickstand and it is still 4 inches too short, had to buy a bike stand, for indoor storage. Thank you for the video
Thanks for the great info. Ordered the Fat FS ULTRA PRO. Plenty fire roads here. 6000ft Elev. I had planned to swap between 26x4 and 27.5x3 wheels. But that would require a new fork as well. According to Biktrix support.
@@darthstrukt I’m very happy with the bike overall, I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Beware of shipping damage! The first bike (fat tire) arrived with the box severely damaged. So much so that the FEDEX guy advised me not to accept delivery. I declined the delivery and contacted Biktrix support. They stated that since I declined delivery that I can be billed for the return shipping charges. Biktrix normally advises customers to accept the bike and they will replace any broken parts. They requested photos of the box. Which FEDEX provided. After 2 days Callum informed me that they would send another bike and if I would like to make any changes. I then switched to the 27.5x3 model, lots of single track here. The 2nd bike arrived 2 weeks later with minor damage to the box, I took pics of box. I found the derailleur & hanger bent, damn! Contacted Callum again, he requested pics and to take the bike to LBS to determine extent of the damage. I refused his request as I don’t have the means to transport a 72lbs bike. Thus he sent me a new hanger and derailleur. I could not wait another 2 weeks and ordered a SRAM GX derailleur(2day Prime) and straighten the bent hanger. Overall Biktrix is a good company, I saved almost $600 in sales tax & shipping. My nephew worked for FEDEX and he said it is common for boxes of that size to get jammed up in the conveyor belt resulting in damage.
@@darthstrukt Very happy with the 27.5, 95% of my riding is single track. My old bike is a Stumpjumper FSR with 26x2.1 tires, with the 27.5’s & Bafang I can clear rock beds & other obstacles that I had to walk through with the Stumpjumper. I plan to switch to studded tires for winter. I suggest that you go to their support page to review instructions on how to proceed upon receiving the bike, ie “proper way to take pics”. It is now titled “I received my bike what do I do next?” When I bought my bike the document was in the “Wellcome new riders!” file which I promptly ignored as a veteran MTB’r 33yrs. I guess they took suggestion to change the title. Enjoy!
You seem happy with the bike. The specs indicates a performer. For a 52v 1000w bike the battery is somewhat undersized. 52v x 17.5ah = 910w (A 20ah battery is recommended).
Would have loved to have a bigger battery but unfortunately not all readily available on the market yet. I have the identical bike in the 52 V / 17.5 a whole is more than adequate for me I weigh 190 lb. Yeah who love 25 amp hours but not available to fit in that frame. And you really don't need it you get plenty of range on the 52/ 17.5 ah battery/ and a little more kick
Iam 56. Before covid i was peddling at 30 plus. I have a 9 speed marin and a 8 speed stump jumper. Love them both over 20 year old. Now after getting my covid second I have been going down hill ever since. Average speed before 24 klm. Now 12 klm. Bullshit that my company made me take it. Now thinking of taking them to court.
Thoughtfully and tastefully made video. Thank you. My thoughts on the bike- I want this in a hybrid form. Think commuter mountain bike. I want it all. Fenders. Rack. Lights. Better kickstand. More weight, but that will be a problem if I see it that way, and then I can solve the “problem” on my own terms, perhaps, by adapting/removing said add-ons. Too easy. Gimme a 4x4 Cadillac, if you will. I’ll drive it as I see fit. Otherwise, as-is? I would treat it like family. But with MY upgrades? Consider myself married. LOL
This was an amazing review! Very helpful and informative. Thank you so much! Now Im down to Luna X2, Luna Z1 or this Juggernaut. A couple questions. Throttle only, can you tell us how fast it can go? What is the average range YOU are getting on the bike? Also, does it have Walk Mode?
Thanks for such a detailed review of this bike! Very educational and relevant info!!! I’m searching for one right now and want to ask about your choice in frame size. How tall are you? I’m always on the cusp of in between sizes as I’m ~ 6’-6’1” with 32” inseam. Thanks in advance for your help.
I bought one of these and had it for a summer. If you plan on buying it upgrade everything. Within the first 3 months of owning it I went through 3 derrailuers had to upgrade the rear hub because the pawls were worn flat, and so many other issues I cannot list them here. Seemed like every time I took this thing out for a ride something broke. I used it to commute on a 10 mile ride. After the 3 months I not only bought the bike but put over $1500 into the bike getting it repaired and upgraded. I than sold it this summer for less than 2200 as no one wanted to buy it. Worst purchase I have ever done.
Good information, I just placed an order for the Fat FS Pro. I was planning on switching between fat & 27.5x3. But Biktrix support “Brooklyn” stated that Boost hub will not fit the fatty fork and I would need new fork to accommodate 27.5x3 wheels. I’m in Reno too, Galena forest. I’m new to the area can you recommend any trails on the Nevada side? I have MTB Tahoe the last 25 years. Thanks
I got one coming in tomorrow.... problem is when I ordered it, I got the range extender... now they have added that frame must be twenty inches to work. guess Im out 500 bucks on a worthless battery. hope they take it back.
75 lbs is too heavy to be an agile FS Ebike. I almost ordered one after seeing this video, until I saw the weight in some forums. Bought a 50 lb one instead and was able to put it on my SUV roof bike rack myself and drive it home from the store.
Would love this bike. I'm 23 stone got a haibike flyon 120 nm torque and it's a beast also got a cube at 85 nm and that is well enough. So 160 nm must be the bollox I would love this bike sounds the buisness
Happy New Year 2022 Flip! Always be safe. I trust the battery cells are Samsung, Panasonic, or LG? Ebikes are still insanely overpriced. $4K USD? I'm also enamored of Cargo bikes. Some trick Riese & Muller's from Germany are $8K+ USD. Good grief. A new 2022 Kawasaki KLR 650 with ABS and hard saddle bag touring setup is in that category. Just picked up a mint TREK 4900 mtb for a Bafang BBS HD conversion. Ride safe brother.
I forgot to mention that....but yes their website says they uses both Samsung and Panasonic cells. I've seen those euro cargo bikes and they are impressive. I was shocked that they cost as much as a used car lol.
They told me that the fork was the same for both the Fat and Boost and that they ship the wheels set separate: Add 27.5x3 wheelset (Includes Tires, Tubes, but no Rotor and Cassette) $399.00 This wheelset will be shipped separately in March. - It looks like you end up with 2 sets of wheels. So this fork issue has stopped me from buying one.
How long would it take to charge a 17 amp hour battery if I put 3 amps in every hour? Alright I'm just teasing. It's 17 / 3. So the answer is 5 hours 40 minutes. You'll notice a little bit of Trail off at the very end but it's nothing to worry about because your battery is more than 95%. Take it and go again
i have a 2020 juggernaut ultra fs what is it that makes it pro? just the battery being in the tube? all the other specs seem the same i think its because i customized mine and kinda made it the pro model before it existed i have the wren inverted fork tektro dorado 4 piston brakes with 210mm discs 52v 17.5 ah battery x2 my charger is also 3 amp but the housing is aluminum with a replaceable fuse maxis minnion FB tires sram nx 11 speed i cant rember the model atm but the same rear shock aswell
I have the identical bike in this review. I am your age 60 years old 190 lb I went for the 3in much more agile , lighter , less drag, overall better Performance Tire is the 3-in and less wear and tear on your bike overall
@@prostreet9149 I am in the same boat. Until I hit sand on my buddy's sondor with 4" tires. Plowed over the sand like its nothing. And can air them up to get stiffer tires fir better rolling. doing crazy single track on this nearly 90 pound bike????
Probably uses many similar parts since many companies source their parts from only a handful of factories that make blank parts. Brand names but the blanks and just put their name on them.
Love it. After the huge snow storm here in the Tahoe area I would 100% recommend this bike in the 4 inch fat tire configuration. I wish I had one. The pro 2 now has a 2nd battery piggyback option too which I absolutely love. I wish they would send me that model to test lol.
I would suggest this company make a way to add a second battery to this model like the non rear suspension duo model. I really would pay the $5,000 for the full suspension bike and it should have a rack for gear
I’m new to this… so with these throttle mtb bikes, I can have pedal assist if I choose or have in throttle mode for street or when I don’t want to pedal going up hill or something?
Both. You can buy various setups. Some are just pedal assist which is what the rental shops use. They are legal up in Tahoe. Or you can get pedal assist with throttle override both cheap and expensive versions or you can get ebike that look like motorcycles like the Sur Ron and Talaria which get alot of hate because they look like motorcycles but they are not.
Bad ass bike. But on a separate note, each time I hear “regenerative breaking” I think, why not reinvent the whole system with twin or triplet batteries A & B and maybe C, with A powering the motor and B feeding from a front hub generator. C is full and next in line to run the motor. When A dies, C takes over while B is almost finished charging. Next A begins to charge and B is next in line to drive. Invent a controller that can manage this flip flop cycle. Only plug it in to a charger if it sits for a while and needs a boost. Smart guys, get to work 🙏 😁
I love my Ultra 1000 and just discovered the SPORT mode. Need to get a manual for the display and controller. I wonder if I can upgrade my bike to the new 2300W mid-drive? Does anyone know the torque specs?
I walked into the Giant bicycle store here in Reno and looked at their ebikes. They start at $5000 up to $10,000....and walked out. I went to the Specialized shop too. Same thing $6000 to $12,000. It made me appreciate this $4000 bike a little bit more.
On a perfectly flat road I believe it can go 28mph. Range is subjective as well. Body weight, tire pressure, road surface, road grade, wind, temperature of the battery, temperature of the day since batteries perform less in winter, throttle only vs pedal assist. Lots of variables when dealing with range.
Bosch outperforms the ultra, its been tested head to head. This Ebike is legal in only 7 states currently. Can you explain the difference in front fork quality from RS compared to RST?
Bosch is better and also more expensive. As for rockshox vs RST. I don't have the data but in general Rockshox has a longer history of producing high quality forks and shocks. RST has a long history of making cheaper budget type products. On paper quality vs real world performance....I have no data. All I know is that if a shock has preload and rebound adjustment and a good amount of travel....then it is good no matter who makes it in the grand scheme of things.
I'm trying to figure out why this e-bike is legal in only 7 states. I don't see why it wouldn't be legal in most states. Either way it's an awesome bike!
Bosch does not have a faster or more powerful motor that is incorrect.Bafang Ultra g510 blows bosch Gen4 away in all test. Please search RUclips for comparison. Is it going to State it ,you might as well get it right
I've watched head-to-heads in-person Bosch does not win. I am seen at least two videos on RUclips with bosch European Spec. Motors got beat. So listen I have nothing against Bosch. So chill out. No I don't have six bikes why would I ever have six e-bikes. Maybe you are more than a man than I am.
A point of contention to my discerning eye, the welds I see look pretty crude. I'm not saying they are bad welds but it would have been nice if they had taken the time to do some light touch ups around the welds with a grinder to improve its appearance. The Ultra FS Pro is a beast but it's 4k+ and idk maybe i just expect better for the money I spend despite it being a minor thing. FYI Specialized has a kick ass e-bike, their mid drive is absolutely silent compared to this, but is also 3k more.
Have either of you welded aluminum? I'm not sure you know what aluminum welds are supposed to look like. I think you might be thinking of Internet MIG welding. It looks great but doesn't hold very well. I didn't notice anything wrong with any of these Wells if you want to put a time stamp where this crappy weld your looking at is visible. Time stamp looks like this 3:16. If you write it in that format it'll make a link so that I can click on that and I'm take me right to that part of the video.
Well do you want to silent e-bike? That's fine you're going to have to pick a motor with nylon gears. You're going to have to pick which thing you're complaining about. Is it going to be the noise of the motor or you or the nylon gears? Because you can't have both. Honestly I think it's fine to complain about a little bit of noise. That's a decision for you.
The specialized "Kick-Ass" e-bike you referring to is that the 70 Newton meter motor? You remember this is a 160 Newton meter motor right? You realize this motor is 228% of the Kick-Ass motor you're referring to? I am only being so hard on you because you stepped in here like you're some sort of authority with your "discerning eye". You have never built aluminum race cars. I have. You were not aware that specialized e-bikes have very small motors. I am. Apparently you didn't know that it's the metal gears that causes the whine. And to be completely honest I'm a little surprised that the thing decided to go for the metal gear. The nylon gear that they have been using even with 160 newton meters very rarely fail. I had to guess I think they're just trying to make this thing Bulletproof so that you can write at 20,000 miles and not wear out that nylon gear. Again to be completely honest I might come down on the side of I would rather be completely silent and change that nylon gear after the 10,000 Mi or whatever that it goes. I think bafang has decided they don't want any part of their motor to be able to wear out with regular use. Pro-tip; I bet $10 that it's exactly the same size and if you wanted to silence that motor you could pull out the steel gear and put in the nylon one and that would completely silence it.
There's something fishy going on w/ all these companies and their torque claims. Many 1000cc superport motorcycles have around 110 Nm of torque, but those will take you to 60 mph in under 3 seconds and are capable of going >180mph
Torque is just the fulcrum based force the motor can output. You can create that much, and more, force by using an extension on a wrench. Horsepower, however, is a function of torque and velocity and is affected by gearing. So when e bikes use a lot of gears to create large torque values, their total HP is relatively low (1000/1500 W), or 1.2-2 HP because the output RPM is low Bikes make 100+ HP because the engine revs to 12000 RPM. How fast do the motor and your legs spin?
@@roshanthomas4595 3" shown on video, but they're not available on your website. Website only shows 4" tires - as the video mentions. Bizarre tire choice for a nice emtb...
What you need to understand is that this is a Class II mountain bike, which is illegal on all trails in CA and most other states. Including all those trails in Tahoe Reno area. Some fire roads may be OK unless they are part of a State or National park in CA. This is really a very low end spec'd bike with entry level components or even below what is considered entry level. Last you need to consider dealer support, when something goes wrong and it will. Not sure how this manufacturer handles that. One last thing, do not get that bike wet...just saying it wont go well...
All true. I believe you can remove the throttle and set the speed limit in the settings to make the bike legal in many states. Of course there isn't much you can do about the 1000 watt motor though. Some states have a 750 watt limit. Like I said at the end... it's not for everyone. I just got a 250 watt mid drive ebike in for review and I'm going to bring up the pros and cons of a little 250 watt mid drive ebike. I agree with you on support. I live within walking distance to a Giant bicycles store front with Giant bike mechanics inside 6 days a week. That is actually a huge selling point when it comes to $5000 electronic toys that get beat on monthly. Very good points indeed. Note I live in Nevada and Nevada has many Tahoe bike trails that ebikes are allowed on. Nevada also has national parks where class 1 2 and 3 ebikes can be ridden. www.fs.usda.gov/visit/e-bikes

Wow, thanks!
No big deal
Bro, one of the best, most comprehensive reviews of any bike that I’ve viewed. Thanks for your observations and insights. Good stuff!
Wow, what a great review. Super detailed commentary. He points out stuff you don't think about as a newb that is really important. Pretty much convinces me to get one.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Superb review. I was about to buy a decent no name brand China fs emtb, then your review popped up. Purchased. Thanks a million
Silent, fast and under the radar.😎😉 thanks for sharing, really enjoyed it.💪🚴♂️
Now that is a setup I haven't seen done yet. Make a video so I can see it when you get it.
A factory makes the frame and companies like eunorau and biktrix buy the frame and build them to their own specs.
@@mixflipThe company that produces this frame in the bike as a whole unit is called
Ansbern.
Good review and extra plus for no distracting background music!
Thanks for watching.
No music is the best
Why the frick do people do that??
Great video brother great scenery, I'd say you definitely hit every key point of the bike, well done . I'm on my second kickstand and it is still 4 inches too short, had to buy a bike stand, for indoor storage. Thank you for the video
Thanks for watching. I'm only now discovering the trails around the Reno Tahoe area. Did you buy this exact model?
I wish they offered a larger battery. M2S offers a 25ah battery but doesn't offer the 27.5 x 3" boost option. I'm still on the fence about tire size.
@@chapter4travels the m2s in my opinion is not comparable to the biktrix Juggernaut FS Pro.
Totally enjoyed this guy!! Very informative.
Thank you for the excellent review on this bike! Much appreciated... and you now have another subscriber..
Thanks for watching. I have some travel trailer videos coming up soon that should be interesting.
Ty im thinking about a juggernaught. I appreciate your review.
Excellent review. I think I've been swayed away from Himiway Pro, Cyrusher Ranger and Wired Freedom.
The trail was a little sketchy for a moment but that’s this is one of the best reviews I have seen on RUclips to date 👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks for watching
LOL
Volts matter where speed is concerned, despite the existence of gear reduction, you get X number of RPM off the motor per volt.
Glad it was helpful!
This was a great review well done even though its a few years old . I'm Just now starting to look at ebike . 👍👍🇨🇦
Does it have:
-QD for the front and rear wheels so we can easily take them off?
-walking feature so we can walk it up the stairs to an apartment?
My Sur Ron has re-gen breaking, and it’s a mid drive
Thanks for such a detailed review of this bike! Very educational and relevant info!!!
I’m searching for one right now and want to ask about your choice in frame size. How tall are you?
I’m always on the cusp of in between sizes as I’m ~ 6’-6’1” with 32” inseam. Thanks in advance for your help.
Best quality review ,
Thanks
Thanks for watching
Wow
75 lbs is too heavy to be an agile FS Ebike. I almost ordered one after seeing this video, until I saw the weight in some forums. Bought a 50 lb one instead and was able to put it on my SUV roof bike rack myself and drive it home from the store.
Yeah, my concern as well. Best yo remove the batteries and front wheel before lifting it.
Would love this bike. I'm 23 stone got a haibike flyon 120 nm torque and it's a beast also got a cube at 85 nm and that is well enough. So 160 nm must be the bollox I would love this bike sounds the buisness
Cool bike and that trail is dope!
It's amazing out here in Reno
Great review
I want one
Excellent review
Thanks for watching
They told me that the fork was the same for both the Fat and Boost and that they ship the wheels set separate: Add 27.5x3 wheelset (Includes Tires, Tubes, but no Rotor and Cassette) $399.00
This wheelset will be shipped separately in March. - It looks like you end up with 2 sets of wheels. So this fork issue has stopped me from buying one.
Companies often change business plans after I post a video and sometimes during production lol. Sorry the details changed.
That is for the Juggernaut Ultra FS Pro 2 bike, this is the FS pro ( no "2")
They have a Juggernaut Duo model that you can get a second battery for that clips on to the frame for up to like 1800 wh .. Same motor in that bike.
How can you have had the bike for 30 days but still do t know how long it takes to charge the battery plz?
Charging only takes a few hours. I usually just plug in at bedtime and it’s ready to go in the morning
Nice bike. is it heavy?
i have a 2020 juggernaut ultra fs what is it that makes it pro? just the battery being in the tube? all the other specs seem the same
i think its because i customized mine and kinda made it the pro model before it existed
i have the wren inverted fork
tektro dorado 4 piston brakes with 210mm discs
52v 17.5 ah battery x2 my charger is also 3 amp but the housing is aluminum with a replaceable fuse
maxis minnion FB tires
sram nx 11 speed
i cant rember the model atm but the same rear shock aswell
Hello. I was curios how tall and how much you weigh. I'm 6' 2" and 225 lbs. Will this bike fit me??
I’m 5’9”
no uphill demo to show the power of it?
So you stopped a Grandmother's house. Was she home and did you get some of her badass pudding and pumpkin pie? 😀
I think so?
How did u get the silver one? I don’t see it available on the site
This was a prototype sent to me for testing.
3" vs 4+" tire version is my big question, I'm on the fence. I'm 60 with plenty of road bike experience, but not MTB experience.
Looks like crazy fun except that seat, it looks brutal on the backside.
Lol..it was surprisingly not painful.
Isn't this essentially the same bike as the Eunorau Specter S?
Probably uses many similar parts since many companies source their parts from only a handful of factories that make blank parts. Brand names but the blanks and just put their name on them.
Bought one. Thanks.
Hope you enjoy it!
Thinking about picking one of these up with fat tires for riding in the snow. Your thoughts?
Love it. After the huge snow storm here in the Tahoe area I would 100% recommend this bike in the 4 inch fat tire configuration. I wish I had one. The pro 2 now has a 2nd battery piggyback option too which I absolutely love. I wish they would send me that model to test lol.
Confused that you stated that you’ve had it for 30 days and also stated that you didn’t know how long it took to charge?
I never timed the charge. I just plug in at bedtime and go ride the next day
I would suggest this company make a way to add a second battery to this model like the non rear suspension duo model.
What sort of range were you getting with it?
Bad ass bike. But on a separate note, each time I hear “regenerative breaking” I think, why not reinvent the whole system with twin or triplet batteries A & B and maybe C, with A powering the motor and B feeding from a front hub generator. C is full and next in line to run the motor. When A dies, C takes over while B is almost finished charging. Next A begins to charge and B is next in line to drive. Invent a controller that can manage this flip flop cycle. Only plug it in to a charger if it sits for a while and needs a boost. Smart guys, get to work 🙏 😁
That’s a good idea
Awesome concept bike ride
I agree. It's pretty cool.
GREAT REVIEW
I love my Ultra 1000 and just discovered the SPORT mode. Need to get a manual for the display and controller. I wonder if I can upgrade my bike to the new 2300W mid-drive? Does anyone know the torque specs?
160nm for the 1000w
300nm for the 2300w
Good stuff man🤙🏻
I wonder what the fs pro 3 has that this one does not?
Great review I love that bike but don’t like the price
I walked into the Giant bicycle store here in Reno and looked at their ebikes. They start at $5000 up to $10,000....and walked out. I went to the Specialized shop too. Same thing $6000 to $12,000.
It made me appreciate this $4000 bike a little bit more.
great video, thanks
Like the specs, but aesthetically, like Nireeka better
How fast can this go with throttle only? Also what is the range like for that with throttle only?
On a perfectly flat road I believe it can go 28mph. Range is subjective as well. Body weight, tire pressure, road surface, road grade, wind, temperature of the battery, temperature of the day since batteries perform less in winter, throttle only vs pedal assist. Lots of variables when dealing with range.
What’s the unlocked topspeed?
@@WestCanaanTim I have no idea where people get their data?
Bosch does not have a faster or more powerful motor that is incorrect.Bafang Ultra g510 blows bosch Gen4 away in all test. Please search RUclips for comparison. Is it going to State it ,you might as well get it right
I've watched head-to-heads in-person Bosch does not win. I am seen at least two videos on RUclips with bosch European Spec. Motors got beat.
So listen I have nothing against Bosch. So chill out. No I don't have six bikes why would I ever have six e-bikes. Maybe you are more than a man than I am.
Great video

What does it weigh
It's an awesome bike
A point of contention to my discerning eye, the welds I see look pretty crude. I'm not saying they are bad welds but it would have been nice if they had taken the time to do some light touch ups around the welds with a grinder to improve its appearance. The Ultra FS Pro is a beast but it's 4k+ and idk maybe i just expect better for the money I spend despite it being a minor thing.
FYI Specialized has a kick ass e-bike, their mid drive is absolutely silent compared to this, but is also 3k more.
I agree
The welds look like crap
Have either of you welded aluminum? I'm not sure you know what aluminum welds are supposed to look like. I think you might be thinking of Internet MIG welding.
It looks great but doesn't hold very well.
I didn't notice anything wrong with any of these Wells if you want to put a time stamp where this crappy weld your looking at is visible.
Time stamp looks like this 3:16.
If you write it in that format it'll make a link so that I can click on that and I'm take me right to that part of the video.
A grinder? On aluminum? I think that answers my question on "do you know anything about welding aluminum" has been answered.
These welds are fine.
So when e bikes use a lot of gears to create large torque values, their total HP is relatively low (1000/1500 W), or 1.2-2 HP because the output RPM is low
Bikes make 100+ HP because the engine revs to 12000 RPM. How fast do the motor and your legs spin?
Awesome bike expensive though
You forgot to mention bosh
"Hardcore" short-distance riding. Why not ride a lightweight electric motorcycle with 3 times the range.
You want a BOSCH mid drive motor. BETTER YET, you would want a Sur Ron.
Looks heavy as hell.
I think its 80lbs with the battery. They just came out with a carbon fiber model.
Sorry, but I don't ride along cliff edges.
