To my knowledge, as long as my covers aren't monetized, they wouldn't be taken down. So you don't need the permission from the artists of the original songs unless you plan to monetize your video. As for me, I only want to be credited in your videos if you plan to use my cover. Cheers man

You should definitely watch the anime, or better yet read the manga as there are many tiny things that the anime cut that can make the show funnier. Overall, you won't regret it
