  • I mounted the AIO with the radiator on top and for a little over a year it gave no problems, unfortunately for an uppgrade I had the unfortunate idea of turning on the computer lying on its side, but temperatures skyrocketed and noises were heard of bubbling water, even by returning it to the vertical position.
    Unfortunately it was no longer under warranty because it had already been replaced previously for the same defect.
    Tried to top up from the cap on the radiator but felt like there was a bubble stuck in the pump.
    I had to disassemble the pump, in order to insert the new liquid from two points, a task not facilitated by the presence of two anti-tampering screws.
    Be careful not to drill the screws completely, otherwise you will damage the pump, just create two small steps to extract them.

    Did you drain it first, and what did you use to refill?

      antifreeze is the best option, especially rated for aluminium and copper mixed loops

    I had the same problem about 2 years after purchase and followed this video. The noise stopped and it worked perfectly for about a month after which the problems started again. We think there may be a very small and slow leak in the radiator, do you know what to do and did you have the same issue or has the cooler been working perfectly since this repair?

      That's every AIO's problem. The System can't be sealed perfectly, no one can. You always have evaporation over time

    Which drill and drill bit have you used? That was verry tuff.

    • @checcomaker
      @checcomaker  10 месяцев назад +2

      It wasn't difficult, the screws are easily drilled with a common drill and a cheap 2mm drill bit

    How long did it last for before you had to refill it

      Hi, I have had two of them, both of them had the same problem two years after purchase, the first one was changed under warranty, the second one I had to repair by myself. How the radiator is mounted also has an impact on durability.

    Why did you open the pump when you could've just refill the radiator ?

    • @checcomaker
      @checcomaker  8 месяцев назад

      I was forced to open it to remove the air bubble that had entered and was preventing the liquid from circulating. I took the opportunity to clean it.

    Ciao Checco, ho avuto stesso problema, sostituito dopo quasi 2 anni, e poi dopo altri 2 anni si è ripresentato il guasto. Soltanto che l'ho smontato dalla parte della pompa ( scheda di controllo) e si son tranciati i finali del'avvolgimento. Tenterò con microscopio di risaldarli e di fare il semplice refill ed eliminare le bolle d'aria.. Purtroppo sto modello è proprio bast@r**!

    Better not to drill the security screw use small flat screw driver and small hammer to tap the screw driver.

    I'd rather hear you breathing than that obnoxious noise pollution. Horrible taste in music for one, but this is a technical video, not some clickbait short.
