Incredible restomod. It’s so well done - better than I could have imagined one up in my mind. Now that I’ve seen it, I want it! The black with the brushed stainless - it’s the most bad-ass ‘63 that I’ve ever seen.
Who’s that man at the end in the killer sweatshirt? Seriously, the more you look at this classic Vette turned modern super cruiser, the better it looks! All the nickel metal trim and bumpers, the finish is carried over to the interior trim pieces. The seats, dash and door cards finished to perfection. The frame and underpinnings- top notch! Oh, the motor…a supercharged behemoth that looks like it belongs under that hood. Great car and great video to showcase the talents of Roadsters Shop.
Not to be rude but it's none of the 'purists' business what you do with your split-window, or any other car for that matter. Can you imagine a purist saying back in the day 'leave that '32 Ford coupe stock, don't mess with it! Sounds ridiculous, right? That's because it is and by extension a split window C2 is no different. Great job guys this car is incredible.
It only sounds ridiculous because you're talking about someone modifying a car when it's still new. In this case, he modified a car that's old, very valuable, and rare if left original. If it wasn't numbers matching before he touched it then I don't particularly think a purist would care since it's not pure to begin with. He can do whatever he wants to his property but it's sad to see numbers matching cars get torn apart.
The attention to detail with this vehicle is mind blowing. This is exactly how to blend new tech with the flare of an old school. Great job roadster shop, looking forward to the day I can work with the team to build my dream ride, 69 Chevelle Malibu.
Wow, very nice swc! Been tracking chassis mods to swc for very long time, fist Newmans, then AME (but they refused to build an IRS set up) then RS and they had an IRS! Think that caused AME to respond with IRS. Anyway, love this car. Ended up buying my SWC in 80’s for 18k! Now have two SWC one took to NCRS got top flight 95 point car! the other want to go LS and RS chassis (not yet started) love this style!
Jeremy is an awesome car hats off and salute to you and your team, if I had that kind of bread I have a 73 Nova just dying for your specialty God bless continue success
It's a nice car i own one that was made into a drag car in 1971 and has not been off the road since. the man that made it into a drag did not give a rat's ass that it was a 1963 split window coupe he just needed a drag car. we have a thing in this country that is called property ownership when you own it you can do what you dam well, please with it. so, you know what the purest can go do.
It would be sweet if you guys could come up with a kit that would accept C2 replacement body parts and C4 chassis parts, kind like how Factory Five makes a Cobra out of a wrecked Mustang plus frame and fiberglass body.
Do you remember the scene in the movie Gone in 60 Seconds, where Nicolas Cage walks into the Ferrari dealer and asks for a 67 Mustang? Do you recall what he said about Ferrari owners? That scene explains it all…
Absolutely love this vette!!!
I don't care what anyone says, especially Euro car fans - the C2 Corvette coupe is just the most gorgeous car ever made.
I spend hours on your website, looking through the pics of your current & completed builds. Don’t know why some of us Love this stuff, but keep it up!
Jesus, I agree ☝️
I'm 70 years old I owned one back in the seventies, It never looked at good, But I loved it💖
The c2 has alway been my favorite corvette modle
I cannot imagine a more beautiful or more brutal package.
What a great blend of modern with original. I think you nailed exactly what so many of us want in a moded classic

That is something special. Amazing job.
It's my favourite American car and you've tastefully modded and modernised it.
Sounds unreal too.
Love the Vette and the past builds! Always thought RS was the best hot rod shop builder out there.
The quality of this video is phenomenal!!
Wow beautiful Corvette, I've always thought that the 60,s Corvette's make great hotrods myself I would love a 67 built like this, awesome build

Great car and great video to showcase the talents of Roadsters Shop.
I am one of those who love the C2 corvette, and the subtle style of this car is beautiful and very much enhances the original style
You guys and kin dig just knock those cars out of the park !!!!! Really amazed of the crews you guys have to be able to make these cars come together.
Wow🎉

@@TheEngineerJason Why does it matter? If it were numbers matching, it’d likely be thrown in a a garage to rot. It’ll be driven now.
@@TheEngineerJason people need to stop getting hung up on materials
Incredible example of a 63 split... awesome
Oh, my! Pretty fricking sweet. Nicely done!
This vette is perfect holy moly
Well done!

Factory spin off wheels are rare bird beauty

Beautiful
Amazing car right down to the NAPA battery.
This car looks great… Build more…
Had to wipe slobber off my mouth. This is the best year of the corvette.
Awesome 👏
Love it
Clean
Your builds are beautiful. How much did this build cost?
Awesome car love it 💪🏼💪🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love it, How much?
My dream is a ‘66 427 ,….until seeing this!
Do you make a spec or revo chassis for 65-66 impala?
I wish 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
Beautiful

Purists can go hang with themselves.
This Vette is Badass and I'd take it every day over a stock 63' Vette.
Great work!
M effing bad ass!!!!
What model of tire is this?
Too notch company. No corners cut . Craftsmanship oar excellence. Tume and again
quality fabrication work
always performed. All
the boxes checked off.
Going through the gear we wanna see the gauges.
Was this car for sell? And if yes how much was it?
Purists be damned - that car is FINE!
Cool! or should I say HOT! :)
I think they do it better than Detroit speed
what's the price of building one of these?
$200K
Νo seat belt?
Ha if you warship safety not your kind of car. It's a light 1960's car so like it would matter it's about as safe as a motorcycle be a better driver.
@@FlipTheTables : It's not a car for show or exhibition only, with that horsepower and top speed not having a modern seat belt it's suicidal.
Seatbelts for Safety! LOL
Why not just buy a used Z06 or zr1? All that work for what? Newer is safer, more trouble free and cooler for about the same so whats the point?
Wow, why are you even watching? If cars like this aren't for you, move on...
Sounds like a very boring world if everyone did what was easy....
