I like these small videos , sometimes while working out we can just take a quick look if we need them. Thanks Aaron
The biomechanics you coach with are so impressive. Thank you so much!
This is great. Any in-depth analysis of any of the banded joint mobilizations are celebrated. An in depth how-to on the hips would be wonderful. It’s all coming together
You just changed my life for me, I have had 2 ruptured tendons in my ankle last year and been struggling to squad low with my right leg. I could do pistol squads on my left leg but would fall backwards when trying it with my right leg. Pushing my knee to the outside while squatting instantly helped me do my first low squad in a long time. Thank you
I wear barefoot shoes and just tried the kettle bell squat stretch recently. Felt so good
That toe splay is goals
love this. please do an in-depth short on joint mobility with the hips 👍🏼
Why not ask for a regular video? Shorts are horrible for fitness videos.
Always the good stuff. I've been working on my ankle mobility and its really helped get rid of the knee pain I've been having.
I was placing the resistance band too high!
Glad I watched this!
Bro him just holding that position at the start that long my knees started cracking
You could do it as a kid, but you stopped doing it. So you lost the ability.
that position doesn't actually pressure the knee that much, if at all, if you're at the bottom.
I see this man’s feet so much, not that I’m complaining though
Dang, look at him squatting with 2x15 sweden on his shoulders. ;)
Well, that answered the ban question. Thank you sir.
He goes so deep it even looks like something's wrong😅
My favourite man in the world
Can you make a video on how to get the mobility to hold the bar in a front squat? I struggle to hold it in the right position because I lack the mobility
Thank you so much
You’ve helped me a ton since I’ve started going to the gym recently
I appreciate you
Most underrated page ever
I have external tibial torsion so my knee extends outwards completely away from my toe.
thank you master
ur informations are very helpful
These shorts are fantastic!
I literally just started doing calf stretches to help hypertrophy and was wondering how my knee should be lined up with my toes. Squirt University to the rescue again.
Squirt😂
Brilliant stuff Aaron
can u make a video on patellarfemoral pain ?
Yes master squat.
thank you sir 👍👌
What an amazing channel 👏
The bone between my knee and ankle seems to be rotated internally I guess because of which my legs look like they are bow legs(not much) and I have a flat foot because of this. Can you please suggest some excercise to fir this?
Mobility man strikes again
First time watching u squat. Now I understand why you have your own squat university 😂
Good tips
Remeber years ago everyone would call you crazy for squatting knees over toes...
Isn't hip mobility as important when deep squatting?
Dr.Aron : do atleast 1-2 sets of barefoot squats
Me: Doing all my squats and leg workout on barefoot 😅😂 thanks of the tip!🎉❤
What if your toes are crooked ❤
Hey Aaron is there any more ankle mobility screening tests other than the 5inch?I get pains in my right ankle after playing basketball regardless if I do the banded joint mobilization as you've shown here and I wonder if there are some other methods to increase the ankle moblity. Love the videos they help tremendously!
Is it ok to love this guy? Cuz I do.
I have no way of using/anchoring a rubber band. What can be used instead of the band exercise?
What about ankle stability??
What about for people that have valgus feet ? i have that condition which apparantly makes me have no glute activation during squats. So my lower back hurts like hell when i do squats.
How do you feel about squatting in the vibram five finger toe shoes?
I can't even put my heal to the floor when squatting
I love this guy . Great video aaron
What if I had bow legs?
Is a heavier band better?
Once my knees are down that low I can't come back up. Its like they're locked. I have no knee strength to cone back from that position. How do I fix this?
I like the emphasis on knee over toes part to make sure people get triggered 👿
What would you suggest if I've had a bilateral hip replacement that resulted in one leg being 3-5mm shorter than the other? I have special shoes, but I do miss barefoot.
Do you have a video on having too much snow mobility? I feel like I’ve been retraining my bum ankle incorrectly. I have a big range of tibial mobility but I’m weak in my abducters and strong in my adductors. @SquatUniversity
What is the brand of band that you are using?
Sir, they’ll set of the lunk alarm if I do anything that so much as resembles good fitness habits. Barefoot is not an option.
I don't get it. I can basically squat ass to grass, maybe you can get a fist under the butt, but my left knee can't go past the toes without pain and blockage. I have great and awful mobility at the same time?
Is it OK to always squat and deadline barefoot??
Lifting and talking without losing their breath 😮
Always gotta squat barefoot don’t neglect it! To me it’s easier to create torque barefoot
I bet i would fall backwards doing the squat
THIS FAWKING CHANNEL BRO 🖤
pardon the language 😏
What if there's no clean space to go barefoot? Would barefoot shoes be good enough?
Just wear socks it'll be great
You make me scared to lift and find out what's wrong 😅
Why do you want a squat to be low?
Full range of motion + it's healthy for the ligaments at the knee joint
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
me, who has had misaligned feet for all my life:
This guy looks like murr with hair
That doesn't work for me. I'm flat footed. I need the arch supports to keep my tibia in proper alignment, otherwise my knees will hurt due to the improper alignment of the tibia turning inward. Great for ppl who have their arches. U should do a video on ppl who are flat-footed
I can't tell if you were intentionally trying to not just say "knees over toes" lol
LOL. He did make sure to say “knee over YOUR toes” ever time. He’s not about to give a free ad.
I'm only doing barefoot on my day's off from the gym. Too many nasty people at the gym
Use squat toilet, so you can avoid these mobility exercise bs
I can’t take my shoes off the gym
Unfortunately, I’m not trying to have people say something to me
Skinny Striggler from American Pie?? LOL.
I don’t think I’m gonna take my shoes off in planet fitness
