Barker College vs Trinity 1sts Volleyball 2013 Winter - Barker Highlights

What a game. Very enjoyable for the players on both teams, the coaches, and the Parents! Writing a small paragraph on the game honestly does not do it Justice. There was not a moment in the game that was not engaging. For Barker boys, they unfortunately came out with a loss. Having said that however, Barker has not taken a single Set from trinity since 2006, and on Saturday the boys managed not only to take 2 sets but brought the game to a deciding 5th set that went 18-16 to Trinity. It's hard for the boys to play such a long game with only 7 members in the squad, but to be able to push through 2 hours of intense physical and mental focus on each and every point is amazing. Each an very player; Hugh Capon, Duncan Hattaway, Nathan Coffey, Sam Giles, Harry Cowan, Ollie Desmond, and Tom Steele should be immensely proud, and congratulated on how far their skills have progressed. The boys play with 100% smiles all the time, have fun, and make alot of noise. Again words honestly and simply cannot put this game to any Justice whatsoever. It was great to see te parents and boys from the 2nds/3rds supporting on the sideline, and would be great to see more people watching for the barker home game when it comes around.

Set 3: 25-17
Set 4: 21-25
Set 5: 18-16 (the 5th set is first to 15 winning by 2 points).
