Tech always seemed one foot in one foot out of the regime, he appeared on yuk’s music sure, but he always had his own thing regardless, but he was surely the biggest standout in the whole group
Interesting that Yuk is giving Tech props and saying they still cool. Couple years back, he was in his feelings about Tech not bringing him on tour and shit, and put down everyone in the Regime except Monsta because they were just leeches making something off him putting up for studio time or something to the effect.
@@Grind365Podcast I tried replying, but I think it might've gotten eaten because I put a link in it. Anyway -- It was further back than I remember. Found a recording of the live on here ("Yukmouth has a message for Tech N9ne and the regime mob") -- I don't remember seeing a near hour long video of it back then though, only remember seeing a couple clips that painted a narrative. Can't say that dude is wrong, cause I can definitely see some dudes eating off him, especially when the number of members/affiliates exploded around the Mixtape period. I miss those early-mid 00s Smoke-A-Lot days, there were definitely some heaters running with the Regime. As for him/Luniz never getting called up for a tour with Tech, I'd imagine that has to do with Travis. He's got some strict guidelines for artists that go on tours -- likely to prevent any 'bad PR' or whatever. Tech's response in interviews when it comes to him doing anything (collab/tour/etc) with Yuk is always "We're two bosses, making moves. Hard for our schedules to line up because he's always doing something, or I'm always doing something" or something of a similar sentiment.
Thats weird I had someone else say they couldn't reply too. I'll have to look at that. And I'll go peep it for sure. I had Stevie Stone on the podcast and we too touched briefly on Tech N9nes tour guidelines ruclips.net/video/Za5FXVGLYhg/видео.htmlsi=TCNWPlqE5Gjc1j9c

I distinctly remember this. As someone who has had a Regime dragon tattoo for over 20 years, it hurt! I'm glad that they're all on the same page again
