“Obviously doesn’t look as good as the old school Charger” i think this model design is the greatest by far.. it’s something about it
@@laloose6262 and how is your new car?
@@laloose6262 thats nice to hear :P
@@laloose6262 why, what are you not liking about it?
This AWD handles better then a any AWD out there. Probably because the weight, width and length. I have has AWD 3 series. And many more AWD. This car is the best out there. Probably why most of the state police around the country drive these. The R/T , scat pack can't corner, can't drive on rain or snow. I have a 2021 and best car hands down. They have 8 speed Mercedes transmission and chasis that the e320 rides. and the 3.6 penstar engine. Crash rating 5 stars..... Dependability 5stars
What I like about this channel is that you’re not super loud and annoying like some other channels. LOL.
Nice and relaxing to see these reviews.
Yea some car guys are extremely obnoxious
Thanks for the review Ben. I own a 2012 black Charger SXT. Its my first Dodge and I friggin love it! I'm now a big Mopar fan. My next vehicle will be either another Charger, a Durango, or a RAM of course lol
Big fan love the lower trim review
Great video as always!
My first new car was a '12 Charger SXT Blacktop, loved that car, the V6 was pretty peppy.
I really, really like this vehicle. I decided to go with an AWD Highlander, but I was sooo close to getting one of these. Final decision was that I needed a bit extra space for hauling, but I really like a sedan with AWD. Thanks for the video! Always look forward to viewing your channel.
Did you happen to look at the Durango during the shopping?
@@LouAntonioGiordano Rango would be more expensive
lol that V6 has a little roar to it
It's sounds like a v8 a bit sounds better than the ford raptor v6
That white pick up was coming out of that lot and you were either gonna stop or you weren’t. He didn’t care which. Glad to see it’s not just New York. Great informative video btw.
Not really about the car, but your camera quality is really good! I felt like I was there with you.
I rented one last week. You can definitely feel the Mercedes DNA. Nice car.
In the market for this now. Thanks for the info.
Same car as my wife's 2016 blacktop package. I do like that it's awd unlike hers. Nice video!
Great video!
Never gets old
I like your glove choice 👍
The AWD is really good as well. You can really feel the four corners of the vehicle Suctioning to the road in bad conditions.
Yep I have a 2021 AWD true blacktop package has the black top also including black spoiler , black wheel s, black mirror s and heated seats, heated steering wheel , heated mirrors, best car like you Said period for a daily driver. 8 speed Mercedes transmission, Mercedes e320 chasis 3.6 penstar engine. GOOD CHOICE !! GO DODGE 🤟😎 fast fun 305 hp , and 31 mpg highway.
Know anything about the challenger redesign coming in 2023?
I’m interested in buying one this summer how much would this run me monthly if I were to put 6K down payment on financing it.
I am about to start saving up for one just like this
I just bought one a week ago and I don’t have performance control how do I get that?
Nice video 🤟
Which car would you guys pick this or mustang EcoBoost?
7:36 I think that's where you put the key
Does the car have a navigation
Well done.
I love mine. !!! I have the true black top edition. Mine has black roof ,black spoiler. I don't know why he called it a black top package. They only made 6500 or so of the one I have.
I think you'll be a great sales person
I was one, but I prefer making the videos
I wanted this in R/T trim but damn it, I always have it engrained in my head that sports cars need to be manual.
Would you recommend the RT Charger ?
@@mohsenl7391 yes, if I had the money, I would get it. But I needed a family car so I got a Cadillac xts
I hope you get what you want 🙏🏻
@@mohsenl7391 same to you 👍
I have the 2021 Dodge Charger GT black top and I love it.
Must of been expensive huh I’m looking into a 16 Dodge Charger with 20 thousand miles and that’s 21 thousand dollar
@@mtvslime9564 I got mine for 28,800 and it was new with 6 miles on it. I live in Houston.
Have you had any problems? I’ve been thinking about getting one
Na wat they charging me for 2021 gt $35k 🤨
Question, is awd better that the other styles ? And why is v6 bad? Should I get a v8 car ?
I have 2014 RT and the gas is a killer. Get the V6 it's fast enough.
AWD is for if you live in snowy climates. Obviously V6 has less power, but if you're using it as a daily driver you'll pay 2-3x the fuel cost for one of the V8 variants
What's the price of this car
i have a 2012 charger and my car looks almost the exact same on the inside and has more features like leathers seats and heated cup holders
It's the same interior since 2011 or 2012 ,Fiat needs to redesign the interior of the charger and challenger.
But it’s till old lol
U sure thqts not the GT? My 22 sxt blacktop don’t have shift paddles, launch control nor sport/performance pages!!
How about the RWD? I live in a suburban town outside of Houston TX called Pearland and all I really need is basic. Would you recommend the RWD?
If it doesn't snow where you live you don't need AWD
@@stevee8318 does awd consume more gas?
The AWD system doesn't consume fuel, but AWD vehicles use slightly more fuel because they have to carry the extra weight of the AWD system. But the main issue isn't fuel economy, it's that if you want AWD, Dodge charges you about $3k more (at least looking at sticker price) for AWD over the base RWD version.
@@stevee8318 I live in snowy Canada so I think the extra 3k is worth it. I was looking into an AWD SXT
@@bryandragon8533 I agree brother - if I was driving regularly in snow I would get the AWD version too. Good hunting
Welp, I guess this is more reliable than my 1999 Ford Taurus :/
nice car
I'm glad I'm not the only one one thinks the accord and the charger look similar in the front
How's the audio on it?
GT AWD has more options right?
Yes
Wish they built it with one of the hemi's.
Wdym? They do make chargers with Hemis😂
Not with AWD
@@dantimber ohhhh yeah. I mean they have a 2014 R/T that’s AWD but not as nice as the 2015+ generation
@@392brady No problem. I wasn't clear. I was trying to say I wish FCA would offer a brand new 2021 AWD Charger (and Challenger too actually) with a Hemi V8. It wouldn't have to be a supercharged engine, just a V8. I don't know the history very well but I think you're right that the 2014 Charger was the last year AWD (with a V8) was offered to the public.
Waths the price of this car
I have a 2018 GT awd & nothing has changed with the 2021
I have the 2021 Dodge Charger GT black top. I have the hood that the RT have 20” rims. It looks really sporty.
Same here. SXT AWDs from ‘19 and up are pretty much the same as the ‘18 GT AWD.
I like chargers!
Does the AWD stay on while driving every time?
No, only when you put it in manual mode or when it senses a potential loss of traction (rain, snow, etc). The only downside is you can't turn AWD off yourself, the car decides
Was that a spare battery as well!!?
Nope. That is THE battery. They have jumper posts under the hood but the battery in the back.
the v6 really needs more power. My stock WRX has the same torque with like 30 less hp but is way lighter
Good 😌
So what changed for the 2021 ?.
Couldn’t find anything
seems like the models stayed the same since 2017
The platform's been the same since 2005 😔
Take a shot everytime he says first off
The blackout portion of the grille makes the car resembles the front of a Honda Accord. Prefer the body color grille pieces, looks different and sportier.
Dodge stop doing led with halogen. Doesn’t go together
Sounds good send me one
Are they going to stop making these in 2023 ?
The difference between the charger and the Accord is that the Accord looks terrible from all angles and the charger looks muscular and better all around
I'll take a I4 or V6 Honda over any V6 Dodge anyday.
@@deme1ko746 I agree as well.
Hondas are great actually
@@DeJIMMYJAM not since they started adding turbo chargers to the equation. Check out consumer reports and car repair sites. Hondas are junkie cars riding on their old reputation for reliability
11:04 peep the flags on that pick up truck on the left side of the screen
Saw that lol
Lol yeah that white ram was totally wrong.
same look as 2015
LED Lighting SUCKS>no 2 ways about it period. Low profile tires suck too. Never get a car with a sunroof - never. Truck space has shrunk from the 08 models. Can't put the wheel chair in the new cars but can in the 08 model. Also, paddle shifters on the steering wheel are definitely in the way. Plus they are a hazard. Really terrible these chargers Do Not come with a standard transmission.
this car has such a bad management when it comes to interior space. over 5 meters long and 5 11 person looks big in the backrow.
other than that :)
Wow buy Dodge Charger
Haha look at captain America pretending to be some guy named Ben Hardy! Nice try Cap!
Interior has to be redesign, looks very cheap!
Typical Dodge.. They always use cheap plastic and cloth on their lower end models
The inside isn't impressive should of had leather seats.
lol $38k! So many better choices out there for that kind of money.
Like?
No way that piece of shit is 38k here in California they go for 20k most
Full throttle acceleration on a car with 9 miles on the odometer...and then someone is going to buy this car? Not me
:)
Cop car
still a good value yea right I couldn’t even trade mine in for a used v8 now I’m stuck with a POs car I can’t do anything to fkn hate it and would give someone the car for a Volkswagen is how embarrassing of a car it is
