Will the system be powered by the engine (alternator) or is it battery powered? I plan to put a Trig 22 in my ‘46 Champ (no engine-driven electrical system) for ADS-B Out so I’m exploring what battery to use.

I fly a glider and I use a pair of Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries of 10 AH switched so that only one will be powering the system at any given time. Light weight and small in size.
