@@agentlemanofhermajesty7051 The Tower during that time was a place of grandeur not a dank prison. The princes were kept away from the Woodvilles who were planning a dynasty of their own. Richard III had all the children of Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville declared as illegitimate through the Bill of Attainder because Edward IV was already married to Eleanor Butler. Since they are all bastards, they have no claim to the throne and in no way a threat to Richard, so Richard has no motive to murder them. If they died during Richard's reign, their corpses must be publicly displayed to eliminate doubts that there are other claimants to the throne just as Henry VII did to Richard's body. So, who has the motive? If you ask me, it's Henry because he needed to marry a York princess to legitimize his right to the throne since he was practically a commoner with a royal family name, but Elizabeth of York has been declared a bastard by Richard so Henry reversed the Bill of Attainder. In so doing, he also made the Princes in the Tower claimants to the throne.
OMG I just finished The Sunne in Splendour... I am officially an emotional wreck. Sharon Kay Penman did bring up something that I had been suspecting although she didn't endorse it, that he was just ready to go. He'd lost his honor, his child and his wife, everything that he'd held dear, he was ready to die and Henry Tudor gave him one hell of a way to go. Ugh *ugly sobs*
These two are the best part of The White Queen. It's close to the real story of Richard 3rd and Anne Neville, too. They were only 16 and 19 when they married. The 'Bad Queen' in real life had not allowed the consummation of Anne's marriage to her son, in case he was killed in battle (which he was) and she carried his child. Richard was her first and only love. Richard however had a couple of illegitimate children before his marriage to Anne. (Randy teenage Richard!)
*hug* I cried so much at the end of the book, god he was just ready to die, he had nothing more to live for :'( but their relationship in the book is written in such a wonderful way.
this is my favorite video of Anne + Richard, i always come back to it because i can't get enough of how beautiful their love was! and the video is so perfect, Mumford & Sons perfectly fit to this era and to their love. ♡ thank you so much for creating this and i hope Richard and Anne found each other again in the afterlife. ♡♡♡
Oh dear, you got me crying at the part, when Anne says "I'm not the little girl you knew" ;-; God, she was like, litterally *born to be royalty* ♥u♥ And I can only congratulate you on the hard, but wonderful job you did here. It's splendid~ ♥ :3
your work is beautiful you used the scenes well, I think the course of the series was tragic at the end but in general Anne and Richard were the argument that I liked the most
I most certainly will! :) and aww, yes, I need some happiness after all this tragedy! I don't know how people can say that Aneurin's not expressive o.o I think he always put so much emotion in his eyes, he was brilliant in capturing Richard's inner turmoil...and if one had doubts about his feelings, after that scene I can't see how they still can çwç
I honestly cannot believe that I haven't commented on here before! Honestly, this is a signature song for Richard and Anne, it's so beautifully done. It's mainly very bittersweet, but the last part is optimistic, in an energetic way. It's almost saying: "We have endured so much, lost and gained so much, but here we are, so let's conquer this together!" ;)
GAHH that ending quote! I really need to read the books now *-* why couldn't they include it in the episode? ;___; I agree with you though, Aneurin and Faye were both amazing with what they gave them...and I do believe it was clear Richard loved Anne until the end despite everything. He may have been in LUST with young Elizabeth, but his relationship with Anne was on another level I think. I love how beautifully you have used the show's photography here among other things! So subscribing! *-*
I really LOVE this video, and the song fit perfectly!... I cant say how much I love this couple and The Sunne in splendour is my fav book about them too, a lot better than the novels on which is based the tv series
This is like my favorite video ever, it's perfect, and this song must be the most beautiful song ever written, it fits them so well. Oh well, I'm crying now. Amazing job, my mind is blown.
Yes, she have said it in a lot of interviews and that is what it was showed in the show. I don't dislike Elizabeth at all, but I think because that poor character development people end up disliking Anne for the same characteristics they were loving about Elizabeth. hahah same for me, in the end I end up rooting always for not the principal characters, it's funny because everyone was ohhh how hot is Max Irons, but it ended with I'm in love with Aneurin and what an awesome actor is he.
THANK YOU SO MUCH Tiphaine darling!!!I don't blame you for not loving them the same at the end,I think their development/ambition has not been explained well, maybe it was a bit rushed and out from nowhere but I can't help it, I love them!thank you again!so glad you liked it :D
Thank you for the talk and your words ;) they made such a good job, even sometimes I thought how poor lines they give you and you are still oustanding so,no complains with Faye and Aneurin ;).
1 beso!!!
La escena de Do you love me es una de las mejores, como la mira, cómo se lo dice, cómo ella lo mira flipando, cómo le dice luego "I hope that's enough for Edward" (porque para él LO ES). Ya paroooooo, has despertado a mi fangirl Rebeca jajajaja
Yes you do ;), read the Kingmakers Daughter because it has wonderful quotes and scense that haven't been included in the show, but I specially recommend you The Sune in Splendour and the Virgin Widow, such great books about Richard/Anne. I know, Faye and Aneurin were the ones that makes us love them

I'm reading Sunne in splendour too (I'm almost in the end) and I'm really loving it, how long it is and how the characters are portrayed there (while PG makes historical innacuracies true facts, I think this book is very well reasearched and a lot more believable). I also read the Virgin Widow and I liked it more that the Kingmakers Daughter. Yes, it was seeing a different show, I have the feeling that they have rushed it so much in the last three episodes, not enough time for such big events.
AWWWW HUN you are to good to me, REALLY. You are a darling Marianne, it makes me so happy that you liked it because you know I'm your biggest fan and I know how much you loved them so thanks a lot hunnie!!
Thank you :) Sometimes I think they were trying to leave Anne with all the blame and santify Richard (at least in the show and justify his actions). It's true that Richard is so different in the book that in the show, their relationship overall It's better in the show, I was refering to the last episode only with my comment.
Amanda Hale was amazing and Rupert Graves too, they were with their plotting and everything, the comic relief of the show xd,some of their scens are memorable.
It's so sad :(, we still believe that Richard didn't kill the boys (Maybe unwittingly Anne or stupid Margaret) and we think he loved Anne till the end and only used Elizabeth to fight back Tudor. AWESOME video!
omg same!! I was prepared for the worst and I still cried my eyes out... it's the same amount of emotional trauma like when Robb Stark or Spartacus died... I will never geto over this tbh (yes, lots of alcohol, I still feel kinda dizzy from last night haha)
OMG I am so glad you have been watching this series and that you have made this incredible video!!!! Brilliantly edited so sad and so many emotions you always leave me in awe!!!! Hope you have a brilliant holiday
HELL HOW DID I NOT COMMENT THIS BEFORE!!!! Well at least, it made me re-watch it, and Silvia, this is so very very gorgeous sweetie!!! You can be proud of yourself! I like those two a lot. I can say that I love them, though not as much as you do. I used to love them really hard, and then I don't know, all this ambition they had made me love them a bit less. Though they kept loving each other til the end, and that was beautiful!
awwwwwwwwww Marianne, you are the most lovely person EVER. Thank you my love!!!! And yes pleaseeeeeeee we can go to the start with these two :'( and ingnore the last episodes?plsssssss
I'M SORRY HUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!*hugs you until the end of time* But you don't even know how happy you have made me with these comments and the tags in your blog, MY LIFE IS COMPLETE. No :') thank you for being such and inspiration and a lovely person. Love you!!!!!
so I can't blame them for that. I have read the books and others about this time period and I can't help it but feel for Anne and Richard, even if in some moments they are poorly developed and written (specially Anne).
Yes, the only explanation you can give about that distrust is that Isabel had taken her body and was speaking through her, because the role she had in episode 7 it's taken by Anne in the next episodes with no-explanation. I always root for villains too. Margaret of Anjou was a bamf, such a interesting character, I wanted to see more of her.
Richard, but if you want to read a good bood about him I reccomend you The Sunne in Splendour by Sharon Kay Penman, far better than Philipa's Gregory one.
I KNOWWWWW, Robb, Spartacus and then Richard, bye world ;__; *hugs the two of you* hahaha the alcohol, that was such a good idea, it's a shame I only drank in the last two episodes xdddd.
The Tudor propaganda destroyed Richard's reputation. I believe Margaret Beaufort, Henry 7 mother, planned and was behind the disappearance of the princes in the tower . Stanley, her husband and was against Richard at Bosworth. A couple of schemers planning to take Richard's crown.
I think the same, the main problem here it's that they had so much material, and fit it in only 10 episodes leads to very poor character development, Anne in episode 8 for example it's totally different of what he have seen of her, there it's no explanation of why she has changed so much. I'm very sad on how they developed her in the show in the last episodes, a lot of pieces are missing and yes, in the show Elizabeth gets the best part maybe because it's PG favourite character.
Yes, she was asking for it. ¿Why she has to be in all the scenes? Even when Anne died, ugh, how much did it cost her to leave the room? A lot xd. I'm not Richard, I am your king. He can't bear to be near her after what happened to Anne,I think he was expecting to make things work between them again when all this Elizabeth thing passed, it's so sad that she died with a heartbreak, thinking that he diddn't love her :(
I KNOW HUN I'M SORRY, but I needed to finish it like it was a therapy or something xd, now I think if I've processed the finale better maybe the video has better parts?idk. I've watched the episode again after I came back home and NOPE :'(
Y NO. ESO NO SE LE HACE A MI ANNE ¬¬
Who says it? Is it Richard or Anne? I haven't read it yet, Phillipa Gregory annoys me, but I'm desperate for non-bastardized versions of Richard III so i'm gonna take the plunge.
The scene was very good but so out of character the acussation, in the book that doesn't happen. If I'm not wrong she says to him that she doesn't see him capable of something like that (and in the show that part is taken by Elizabeth of York when she speaks with his mother) and let's no talk about the funeral part where she doesnt' take his hand and Elizabeth does it like they were trying to show us that well poor Richard his wife ignores him or something xd lets go with the niece history.
Yes, it would have been lovely to see their story too, I think it's very interesting also.I had that theory too, that they were goingo to blame everything on her, some people at the end were buying that because they thought that Anne deserved the infidelity (excuse me what), for me the scene in the funeral was so out of character and Anne acussing him about killing the boys was also so not Anne. At the end she discovers that Brackenbury didn't give the order so why not sharing it with Richard?
Poor Richard. Such a tragic figure. I'm so glad people are finally seeing the true man behind the lies that were created about him.
What the Richard who locked his cousins (Rightful heirs of the Throne) in a prison to die. Yeah, good guy XD
Then again, Richard III died with honour fighting the Lancasters. So, therefore, he has my respect.

Yeah! He did not murder his nephews, brothers, or cousins (including the Nevilles, Henry VI, and Edward Prince of Westminster)!

Beautiful!
Thank you for your comment ;)
i am totally in love!:)
Love the video and song choice. Some of the Richard & Anne videos on here have some really awful music and lyrics. This one works! Very nice!

this video is beautiful thanks a lot
¡ME ENCANTA! Es perfecto, es tan... sksdfsdb dios mio!! Quiero este talento jajaja Precioso:)
Thanks for the recommendations!I have the seventh son pending to read ;)
This hurts.
QUE COSA MÁS BONITA ERES.
beautiful vid!
¿Hasta cual has visto corazón?
