I just wanted to add that it is very good to do this at night at Rito stable. Beedle is inside at night in the event you want to use the item hovering glitch to pass the maximum of 15, and if you load your save file, all the tree logs around Rito stable respawn immediately so you can keep getting 6 pieces of wood easily (the 3 pieces that are already laying there do not respawn). Hi! Can personally verify this works just like in the video, but I found a glitch to the glitch. I had an extra stamina wheel because of something I ate and was saving it for later expenditure. Because of this, it would show me holding the extra item (apples) in the menu, and still would when exiting. Thus, I was unable to sell the remaining apples and would just dump them on the ground. Ran around outside for a minute to burn the stamina wheel, and the apple trick worked again. So if you're having trouble like I did, make sure you don't have extra stamina. Not sure if it's the same with extra hearts.

it happened to me my first time so what u want to do is when u overload the menu u want to have no sword and shield equiped and after u overload it drop the bow u have equiped then continue with the apple dissapering/selling part
ok so i found out that you can only the item if you have one in your inventory so do everything the same but if u want to dupe something there must be one in ur inv
Something is wrong! No more than 10 units of the same material can be placed on the ground, and once this limit is exceeded, the other units disappear! So I was able to duplicate the Big Ranel Hearts (a food/material that restores 4 hearts each) only up to 15 units in total! How do you go beyond this limit?
This makes me wish there was somewhere I could store apples so that I don't have to sell hundreds of apples to get 5 duplicates of star fragments or whatever back.

Step one: get 7 lynel bows
You can get duplex bows early game easily during the Vah Naboris quest
I just went to a valley in the desert and killed ninjas for their bows
This isn’t meant for early game I feel it’s meant for later game when you can get items but it’s tedious

I was doing this until I learned of the Hyrule shield duplication glitch, which also works on Ancient shields. Give it a go!

You need to have overloaded the menu in the past so it works better

You have to use the item floating glitch to go beyond 15. Plenty of videos out there, not TOO difficult to do.

What if you have multiple of the item you want to dupe? I tried with 11 ancient cores and one of them disappeared

One question, does it move the item from the 5 you hold or the amount you sell?
5 you're holding, you only need 6 of a given item to sell the last one in order for the five you're holding to transmute into the item you pick up.
Tried using this on the sapphires only lets you do it twice after that it don't dup any more
any problems with gameplay after doing the menu overload thing? just dont want my game screwing up. if not ill just farm horns for the rupees
