This is my favorite mix ...paint in a cup....add 40% Vallejo pouring medium ( new formula ) stir smooth...add 10-15% Vallejo gloss medium....stir smooth....Then I have a bottle of 50% water 50% PVAc glue and I add 10-15% of that....smooth it up and then add water untill as smooth as warm honey.
Mixing is indeed calming and I'm getting better. This less is more is so true. Less paint goes to waste and you truly test your skills too. You make it seem so effortless. Thanks for sharing.

For those who get excited about wasted paint, I took a good hint from Michael at MKL GRM. He (and now I) scrap our wet paint, put it in a jar with a lid, ad use that paint to be the paint that goes over the sides. No, it’s not always a pretty color, but it doesn’t stay on the canvas in any case. Works great.

👋 Annmarie. I agree with your comment about people whom complain about wastage of paint ! I sew bespoke clothing for people with some physical limitations so I also have some wastage , actually if the complainers really look most of the human race we all contribute to the world wastage problem even those whom don’t create some beautiful and uplifting art for us to enjoy and learn. Yep some wastage is rubbish from everyday utilities. So I will keep enjoying watching and practicing from you to enlighten part of my day. 🙏 Karen NZ
