    I am in week 9+. I am 72 but used to be an "almost" elite athlete. My Orthopedic doctor said you may not get full functionality. Doctor, I started physical therapy and because of your great transitional workout routines which I have followed religiously. Truth, I did your first 5 videos washout "total permission" but did not push my resistance to where it hurt. The result is I started much further with personal PT than anyone expected. I probably will join your weeks 12-14 even though I am approaching week 10 but major my break is "healed" and the 1 % displacement is filling in and I have no physical restrictions. I have been promoting your series, not just this one, to many people. Keep up the fantastic teaching. I hope your sponsors are listening.!

      Thank you so much for telling your story and sharing with others. That is what our trials are about. Your 70's are looking like the 40's right now and inspiring others each day. Keep walking with that chest up.

    Thank you Dr Adam Fields, your videos and words of encouragement is what has got me through, I fractured my right proximal humerus with minimal displacement 5 months ago and I'm now back doing everything as before my fall. I tell everyone how much your videos helped me. Thank you I don't know if I'd be at this stage now if it wasn't for you.

    I am about to see a physical therapist for the first time next week, 10 weeks into my recovery because the healthcare in my state is less than ideal. I strongly feel that without these videos I would be in much worse shape. I'm getting pretty close to my full range of motion back at 10 weeks without proper physical therapy. I doubt you look at comments from a year back but on the off chance you do I just wanted to say, thank you Dr. Fields, you really helped me.

    Your videos are so well done. Very professional and helpful. I watched all of them and they really motivated me to do physio at home every day, and what a difference it made! You truly helped me out when I was worried about paying for physio when I had no benefits. I did check-ins with my fracture doctor to make sure everything was healing ok, but all the physio was done with your videos. Thank you so much! I am about week 16 and am pretty much back to 100% even lifting medium weights again.

    • @MrRaptorJames
      @MrRaptorJames Месяц назад

      Everyones different but I will say that full extension over the head and also putting my arm behind my back took the longest. I feel like laying on my back stretching overhead and also using a chinup bar to hang/stretch helped the most with that.

      Probably.. im week 18 now and even though im almost at 100% lifting weights and stuff, I still am having to stretch behind my back everyday (like grabbing wallet from back pocket is hard) but it improves slowly. Shoulder can still get sore occasionally like shovelling this winter snow 3 days in a row..

    These videos are fantastic. Still getting restricted movement and pain after more than four months since humeral comminuted fracture plus split tendon and SLAP tear from falling down stairs. Since doing these videos every day for only a week now am noticing improvement already in range of motion. Very encouraging and genuine instruction. Thank you Dr Adam Fields, found you at the right time as I was getting very discouraged from improvement.

    I’m four months out from my humorous neck fracture. I so wish I had your videos from the beginning. I had so much pain in my elbow and swelling of forearms and hand. These would have helped so much. My physical therapist would set me up on a machine and leave. I would wait awkwardly for more instructions while they visited with other staff. I hated physical therapy it was awful.

    Hi Dr Fields, a massive thank you for your life saving videos!!!
    Im 60 years of age and suffered a displaced humerus fracture where a titanium rod 26 x 0.9 cm was inserted through my shoulder down into the bone marrow and pinned with two screws top and bottom. Its 14 weeks since the surgery, my humerus bone only healed after 12 weeks and i still have some pain... Im a swimmer and very fit but I find my healing process to be some 4 weeks behind your programme. Is this a fair assumption or should i be pressing on more?
    Ive really only started back with your programmes as the pain was too great for the first 12 weeks. Obviously my shoulder is now stiff i need to get moving again...
