- Helloooo! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Today we need to give a HUGE shoutout to our Mochi Member, Risti, for making this AMAZING request! I love seeing the boys (like Risti says in her description) in familiar award shows to us that are out of their comfort zone. It truly shows how much the boys have to work and how much they have grown now that they are getting used to the Western awards circuit. 😏😌

It‘s so funny when Army goes wild at American award shows and half the room has absolutely no idea what‘s happening.😂 You can see that really well at the AMAs with the DNA comeback. And our boys being grateful and happy is always wonderful to see of course.💜
Thing is in 2017 when BTS came to BBMAS, AMAS... artist there had no clue who they were. Media did not know who those 7 man were. BTS was the new kid in a new school. They mention countless time when ARMY cheered for them, other artists look at then with a respect though they did not know who these 7 guys were.
This is why ARMY have this motto of being loud in any American show... to let BTS and everyone know that there are here for BTS. And now BTS is nominated for a grammy. 😢💜

You need to watch fan cams of this. Army was great lots of the people there had no idea who they were, as soon as they left the red carpet and enter the building 1 army girl spot them and started screaming then the others realized that they had arrived it gives you chills. People on the ground floor was looking around wondering what was going on.
I was on Twitter at the time the whole day, also watch it live on TV. This was when the media started showing attention to BTS and Army, just how powerful Army..

Yup. Mostly because antis think that the top social artist award will not amount to anything and BTS will just fade away. Kpop stans believed that as previous grps came on US talkshows had minor success on Billboard but never broke through US gp conscious so antis convinced themselves US was gonna ignore or tear BTS apart. ARMYs though..ARMYs are smart, they knew this was an opportunity to promote BTS as ARMYs always believe in BTS music and lyrics..so ARMYs went ham on the votings.
