Have you also tried freezing it ? If I have not used all of the bread after a couple of days, I slice the remainder and I freeze it - and it becomes very handy for when you need that quick fix of a slice of hot buttered toast (when you’ve not got any fresh obviously) with a cup of tea !
That's a wonderful idea. I have not tried it with bread but have put cupcakes in the freezer and have warmed it in the microwave when needed. Thank you for watching.
Hi, thank you for making and sharing the video 🙂 ♥️ What weight did you select when making this bread recipe? Also, is the program you selected 1 or 12? What did you select for the crust, light, medium or dark crust? Thanks.
Most excellent review! Had a few bread makers in the past which leave a doughey/raw bottom to some loaves. So disheartening to bite into one of those. But how do you avoid your loaves getting too tall as well?
Hi Larry, sorry to know that you had a bad experience in the past with a few bread makers. My recommendation would be to follow manufacturer recommended guidelines/recipes for the particular breadmaker. For this particular model of breadmaker, there are 3 recommended loaf sizes. We find that the medium loaf size is perfect for this model. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for this, can I also asked, I have done this twice but the bread comes out white on top😔😔, its brown from the botton up to half way, then the rest is white, from your experience. What do you tbink could be a problem? Thank you for your time
When it comes to crust setting on the bread machine I normally choose medium and the bread has even color throughout. In your case I can only guess that this could be due to less sugar. Have you tried different crust setting on the bread machine, and is the browning the same on different setting.
Hi I have the same bread maker but the crust collapses in the middle. Any idea what I'm doing wrong please? Also which flour and which yeast brands do you use?
Hi LA, Thank you for watching. There could be two possibilities for the infamous "crust collapse". One could be due to too much liquid used in the recipe and the other could be due to too much yeast used. I have used King Arthur bread flour and have obtained good results. Generally a flour with higher protein content should be used. Yeast used for baking is instant yeast and I prefer the SAF brand of yeast for baking bread.
Ive got this machine, previous one was too small a loaf. Results are good but ive never had an even colour on top like your loaf. I make mostly wholewheat, both that and white bread have pale top crusts.
Have you tried the recipes in the instructions? I always want to get the kind of texture you show in the video. I use white sandwich loaf recipe in the instruction but the result is a kind of bread that is a bit hard in the inside.
I have tried out some of the recipes from the instructions and it has turned out quite well. Sorry to hear that you were not able to replicate the same result that I have obtained with this machine.
This was so useful, thank you for making this as I'm currently trying to decide which breadmaker to go with. What a great, indepth review.
I truly enjoyed watching this video
You do not need to cook the paddle into the bread. You remove it at the end of the second whirring. This is about 1 : 50 to 1 : 40 on the display.

On the fast bake take it out around 240 on the clock
How can you mute it? Great review👍
This machine looks great, is the preset timer at the beginning can bake at the command time so that can enjoy hot bread in the morning?
Yes you can set the maximum time to 13 hours to enjoy hot bread in the morning. Thank you for watching.
@@MyFoodJourneys I haven't get any machine but I enjoy watching this video. Thanks for sharing!

@@Binti1801 did you come right? Would like to know if this was human or appliance error
Just ordered one, nice commentary btw
How has it been?

would it work without yeast? If I use baking powder instead? I read somewhere you can substitute yeast with baking powder and lemon.
3 times I have tried this but the bottom is cooked but from the middle upwards seems doughy and uncooked, why is this?
Thank you
Before i start i wipe margerine,on the paddle,& it never gets stuck in bread
Thanks 🙏
Thank you for watching.
How much it costs per hour to run this machine ? 😊

How much dryed milk? 10 grams or 100 grams?

Not sure why the crust turns out pale in your case. I always choose the medium crust setting. Thank you for watching.

My bread maker shows program 1 and won’t move off it to other programs
russell hobbs 23620 vs 18036?
Please can the machine also be used in kneading dough?
Yes, the breadmaker can knead dough, there is a program option for the same.
My bread machine has 2 loaf size ( 700gms and 1000gms). If I use this receipe which loaf size should i select?
You can use the loaf size of 700 grams for your bread machine. Thank you for watching.
Is it normal for the paddle to stay stuck in the bread?
Yes this is normal, thanks for watching.
Is it 5grams if u gt east bake yeast xxx
Easy
My paddle are not moving
Why did my kneading piece come off, and stuck in the bread?
The kneading paddle will remain in the baked bread as the paddle is a removable paddle.
You can remove the paddle after kneading and before the final rise. This way there will only be a small hole on the bottom of your loaf.
Problem is, a good 20% of the loaf is unusable for slices due to the gaping hole in the bottom

Why do you have to put to many ingredients? The bread is made from: water, salt, yeast, flour
