Soul Calibur 6 (Soul Calibur 7) needs to be in The Original Timeline including having Better Storyline And Soul Edge Design back same goes for Soul Calibur 4 (Soul Calibur 5) & Soul Calibur 5 (Soul Calibur 6) also have 3 on Playstation 3 & Xbox 360
Imo, these critical edges are much more action packed than the critical edges in future games its much cooler to see a flow of continuous attacks instead of a cutscene of an attack interrupting the flow of gameplay
Wouldn't be well since these Critical Edges look like they would be only viable if the opponent is standing and not in a combo. Personally, I prefer the new ones since they work well as combo enders.
Cool thing I noticed, a majority of this cast are predecessors to the ones we know now, Rock to Ashtoroth, Li Long to Maxi, Hwang to Yung Sung, Sophitia to Cassandra, the list goes on
Not only that a lot of these characters return as hidden characters of alt skins, once you could create a soul u will also find theiid stuff to recreate them. Shout out to Arthur and the assassin
Not quite in Sophitia's case, as she also appeared ALONGSIDE Cassandra. TRUE predecessors tend to be replaced with the more popular ones ON A PERMANENT BASIS.
I want this back and the critical finishes from 4.. I remember playing soul calibur for the first time and being disappointed cause A+B+K didn't start the first part of the critical edge combo....
Soul blade was the very first video game in my book man that game had the very best critical attack ever but now there's other Soul Calibur video games a popular one that got better critical attacks that I saw on my other account everybody should check it out I'm still very fond and very thrilled with the first one though even though it was an underrated game it was very cool yet complicated!!🤨

Yeah I hate the cutscenes style specials in the newer games.
They are not that bad. Maybe to be shorter a bit, but I think they looked nice. Especially in SCVI.

to be fair, this pretty much was the 10 hit combo system. Heihachi kinda brought it back in 2.
