Named after the Pompano fish that thrive in its waters, Pompano Beach is often referred to as "the Heart of the Gold Coast" because it sits right between the glitz of Palm Beach and the high energy of Miami. This was our first time here and we were lucky to find this cur place called The Surf Side Motel and Resort. This property is across the street from the beach and is less than 5 minutes' walk from various shops, restaurants, and the Pompano Fishing Pier. The property offers an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi.
