  • This is part 2 of a book discussion for The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells. I've read chapters 11-17 (reading time about 2 hours and 15 minutes) and here are some of my thoughts on the book so far. I really enjoyed this section of the book because it talks more about humanity than the conflict between aliens and people.

    I think that's the thing, Wells probably played the supposed importance of names so much, that he didn't name the narrator probably to make it more mysterious or something like that, turning your own frustrations on its head.
