Since I got my Miyoo Mini Plus, I’ve been surprised at how many PS1 games I’ve been playing on it on a regular basis. I knew I’d be enjoying my favorite NES, SNES, and Gameboy games without a problem, but I wasn’t expecting to play the Bloody Roar games and Tekken games on a regular basis, not to mention playing Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure for the first time in decades. The only game I had minor audio issues with was Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition, and that just might be an imperfect rom that I obtained. Overall, every PS1 game I’ve played on the Miyoo Mini Plus with Onion OS has been a solid experience. 👍🏽
The cat at the nitro fighting game was like "you can fight me as well 🐱" Great video man! 🔥 seen some ps1 game's I've never seen before. Third shooters is something i wouldn't like to play on this I've noticed. But I'm definitely going to get this emulator prices has pretty much leveled to rg35xx now I've noticed 👏🏼

I've tried different ROMs from every format possible. the closest I could get was with the .chd ROM. Which showed the first two logos of the game. After this, a purple strip appears at the top of the screen, the screen goes black and the sound becomes accelerated and crackling. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem? But this video was made long back, all I remember is, none of the files that worked on the stock os worked on the onion os and I went to the settings and there is an internal converter that you have to do to make all the ps1 games work. I'm not sure about the format, unfortunately.

Hey, i'm running the MM+ for half a year now and can tell you that all FF games for psx run well on it! You might mention some really minor slow downs in some Fights with ff9. But Overall they all run well!

@@BigRetroStudio onion os. i just re installed to see if that was the problem but still the same. crash B 3 runs so slow and laggy, metal gear solid, toy story 2 dont even start, some work well like tekken 3 or crash 1, 2 and racing. what would be the problem? i tried bin and PBP format and there is not improvement thank you bro
@pablorueda5752 You have to manually go into onion os settings and change the rom formats. There is an option for that to automatically change to the compatibile format for onion os, I don't remember now, maybe .chd or something. You can change the format from the onion os settings itself without connecting to any computer or laptop.
I honestly don't remember, I got it a long time back and installed onion os and added my own favorite games. You can click the link in the description and select the sd card with more space when you check out. Hopefully, it's there. If it's not, it will take 2 mins to put it. RG552 is not in the same category, RG35XX is another similar handheld in this price range and emulation capabilities. I'd suggest watching my Miyoo Mini Plus vs RG35XX comparison video to make a better decision.
Hi anyone who can answer my question 🙏. Is there a way that the old games from the stock os works when you upgrade to onion os?do I just need to copy and paste the old Roms or do I need to do some conversion?
I installed Onion OS using a new SD card, which was fully formatted. So after it was installed, all I had to do was copy the original roms from the old SD card and put it into the right folders of the new SD card where Onion OS was installed. Hope it makes sense.

I can't find a functioning Herc's Adventure file. There is [SLUS-00298] but doesnt work on my miyoo.

I'd suggest getting getting an additional sd card, install onion os and then transfer all your games from old to new. That might do the trick

All of these can play perfectly.
None of the need for speed games for ps1 have ever worked. I've tested all emulators options and have the latest OS version. All other games work fine
