    I’ve been wearing 13x6 for 3 years, love the look but hate the maintenance. My first ever was 5x5 and I loved it. Definitely going back to 5x5

      @sherry Price it’s not the wig that matters. It’s the way you curl it. You’re the curling the ends out, instead of tucking them in. Then give your head a shake back and forth and you get volume! “Tah-Dah!”

    Great video! I’m a latin girl with natural wavy hair that’s gorgeous when I leave the house but as soon as the humidity hits it it’s a horrible frizzy mess. Of course I’ve always wanted the Cher look! I’m able to get her look but only when I have it professionally straightened which is so damaging. I want to get a bone straight wig for high humidity climates. Last vacay in Belize my friends would say wow your hair looks great! After an hr, they started calling me Rick James. 😢

    For me personally what im thinking about the 5x5 lace is that what if you wanna put the hair behind your ears? like what if its windy for example.. does the track show on the sides? thats why im thinking i should get a frontal . its just looks more natural. but its also uncomfortable cause of the glue. 😩 ugh idk

    • @LovelyKelly645
      @LovelyKelly645 2 года назад +1

      I have the same question

    • @brendealovell
      @brendealovell 2 года назад +2

      I’m just as new as you girl but I just ordered a 5x5 hd lace closure, but honestly in a sew-in, I would presume the bundles would conceal the tracks regardless. Because the hair is being sewed into layers you know? I don’t think it would necessarily be obvious unless you are actually trying to make a distinct part outside the top netting of the closure

    • @AllThingsBliss
      @AllThingsBliss  Год назад +1

      Such a great question. Remember. This is for people new to wearing wigs. If the upkeep for a frontal is easy for you, or if your stylist knows how to keep it laid for weeks, choose a frontal!! It can honestly depend on how the wig is structured, some wefts are sewn around the edges so even if it blows, no tracks show!

    • @AllThingsBliss
      @AllThingsBliss  Год назад +1

      Exactly. It’s all about the install or the construction of the wig. Everyone has their own way, some better than others!

    How do you measure an existing wig to replace a closure? Seems like my existing wig is 4 inches wide by 5 inches deep - but it could be 5x5. I can’t figure it out.

    • @AllThingsBliss
      @AllThingsBliss  Год назад

      When in doubt it’s better to get more lace and cut it, than get a smaller closure and end up shrinking the cap and losing space. Then it won’t fit the same.

      Yes and no. You can get the frontal effect on the hairline or even shift the wig to the side to get deeper parts, 5x5 still gives you room to make cute braids. But at the end of the day the 13x4/13x6’s still have much more lace to play with.
