13:12 is what I've been looking for to set up my PS3 controller for Arma 3 where you go from standing --> couch --> prone --> roll sideway, all on one button.
@@therealrezen Just connect it to the pc by usb cable and PUBG will recognize inmidiatly, obviustly you'll have to use mouse to get in a match and when you´ll get in you'll can use the controller.. also if you can download the Xbox controller software of microsoft web.
His comment below is correct. There may be one setting you need to change, but you should be good by just plugging it in. Also, you may need to turn off the settings I told you to turn on in this video. If you need some help let me know.
What about if it's not a Xbox or a PS4 controller? I been using a MSI gaming controller and I can't set it up and it doesn't work on pubg for some reason
Pubg has provided controller support for its game now so my method is no longer needed. You should be able to plug in your controller to your pc and if steam recognizes it, then pubg should have a configuration for it I would think.
Question... Anyone? Thanks for the video, very informative. I'm new to playing pubg and have just been experimenting with community presets. I've found one I like but it doesn't let me also use the mouse\kb which I prefer to use for maps and looting. Some presets allow the mouse\kb simultaneously and some presets don't. What setting is doing this?
Pubg has made some changes. If you use an Xbox control and then the game will default you to using the Xbox pubg controller setup settings. You will not be able to use the move for actual gameplay at that point. You will be able to use to to click on different things, but not to shoot people or loot. You should google the Xbox pubg controller setup.
@@sikwitit937tv man, thanks for the quick reply. As of yesterday I was able to use the mouse to loot and for the maps, but it depends on which Xbox controller preset I'm using. The one I like best cuts off the mouse, but there's another preset I've used that still allows use of the mouse. I just cannot figure out why. My only option it seems is to use the preset that allows the mouse then remap the keys but I was hoping to avoid that process if easier to somehow change an allow use of mouse setting. Note: I've never actually tried to use the mouse to shoot etc, just for looting and maps.
@@sikwitit937tv oh yea, your question in the vid about dropping loot for a teammate.... When it says press Y to drop an item. If you long press it will pull up an amount window.. BUT .. Hahaha I can only adjust and click to drop with the mouse.
Okay I get what you are saying now. Unfortunately I am unsure what that setting is as well. I was having that issue when a previous update came out. I just gave up and used the Xbox standard mapping since I know that button mapping pretty well.
Nice tutorial but i think is harder play with a controller because theres no aim assist so keyboard and mouse players has a big advantage over controller players, do you agree?
I have a redgear pro gamepad. It is detected as a xbox controller. I have mapped its keys but it is not working in PUBG PC LITE. What Shall I Do? (I am a total noob without gamepad in battle royal games especially hard games like pubg pc whereas pubg mobile lite is easier on keyboard on simulator.). Please Help
GUNAGYA you should not need to map the buttons anymore. If the game can detect it as an Xbox controller than you can just use the standard Xbox configuration.

It definitely makes the game easier for those who are not good with mouse any keyboard. I still use the mouse in certain situations though.
Sikwitit nowadays how do you play, Using the Settings that you show here in this video or do you use the actual Xbox controller setup in game ???
I use the actual Xbox setup. It allows for more functionality than what my setup did.

I did all the setup and mapping still just the left analog stick is working which makes character move but none of the others work pls help

Yes I figured out the drop feature. After the update they made it easier and harder to drop things. But I get by.

+Roy Dpz yes that is definitely true, but I hear they are suppose to be adding aim assist for controller players. That's just what I hear though.

With this setup you can’t. If you use the actual Xbox setup then you can heal using the controller
