Here are some possible reasons as to why you may not be getting the same effects:
Sorry it’s a lot but I really hope this helps!
•Not shaking glue before each use
    • Applying too much glue on each layer
•Not spreading the glue evenly as possible
    • Applying another layer too quickly
( I’ve learned when apply the last layer to attach the wig and blow dry on cool for the last layer. You don’t want to feel any stickiness after you’ve applied the last layer)
    • Glue works differently on types of lace, the thinner the lace the better the result.
•Most Importantly - melt the lace with a lace spray I’ve recently been using the Fantasia Liquid Mousse Spray (linked below) These too combined has my lace melted and STUCK!
Last but not least- I can’t emphasize making sure the glue is dried completely if you plan to tie it down after it’s been melted. Your lace should not feel sticky or it will start to lift regardless of sweat or water.

Using astringent instead of alcohol is best because if you use alcohol to remove dirt and debris to clean your hairline before the install like I do then the chemicals in the alcohol will compromise the strength of the glue or bong hold. If you use alcohol to remove the glue post install then using it pre-install will cause the wig to lift or slide

I used her glue this week bc my wig came up after I got it installed by my stylist. I got it wet so I took it off washed etc and applied Misty's glue. I used 4 layers but I feel like it's too much for me. I'll be taking off my wig and reapplying before thanksgiving. And I'll try to be less heavy handed too. She always does nice thin layers so I'll try that.

Yes, that was me when I first installed, I learned less is better with this glue. You almost want to feel like you aren’t applying enough but trust me it will be if you’re doing it in layers

I love that glue the only con is that it’s a bit runny but hey I’ve had my wig on for now going on 2 weeks ,.. I just had V to V touch up & clean the perimeter

    • @spiritualstylist

I love it too, paired with ar eally good lace. I've learned to shake it first and squeeze just a little so that too much doesn't come out all at once because it is thinner than most lace glues. A little goes a long way!

@@sexyd413 girl I thought the same when that shit was running on my forehead but something said to shake it … and it was good . She does say on her site something about the glue freezing in cold climates … so that’s what made me be like “shake it and try”

@@sexyd413 my best installs with this glue come from using very little bit, and taking a rat tail comb to spread the glue.

Im am soooo happy to hear that you had a great experience with them. To be completely honest, I was debating on wether I should attempt to reorder another wig from them or just my one experience with the company. What do you think ?

This glue does not work, I bought both extreme and regular and they do not last long. You have to tie your hair down and basically stop circulation to your brain if you want to it to stay as long, and you have to use nuff layers for it to stay on as long. If you’re in cold weather you won’t be able to realize the glue lifts very easily but if you live in a tropical country and worse have oily skin, the glue lifts in no time and like within a day or 2 unless you tie it down ALL THE TIME and even so it gets very tacky. I have been trying with this glue but I have never had to try with a glue this much. And I really wanted to believe in it but even after a professional install, it still did not last. Maybe I got a bad batch but both extreme and regular DO NOT WORK.

I’m so sad to hear the glue is not working for you. I believe she has a customer service address that you can email and potentially get a refund, I’m not affiliated with the company so I’m not entirely sure. I also think she has a team that walks you through the install process. I can agree this glue is different than many of the lace glues on the market but so far it has been working for me… now pulling and lifting stuff with my hair I have not tried like she advertises but when installed properly my wigs will last two weeks before beginning to lift. However, I have noticed when I apply too much glue or skip the lace spray it does not hold as well and I would have to touch the lace up throughout the week. I live in California and have tried this glue during the summer and winter. It only makes me wonder how many others are having this issue

I've used this glue and it last no longer than a week for me, I dry using a held hand fan. Do you think thats the same as using a blow dryer on cool?

Girl the glue is strong enough, you just whip the wig to the front of your hair and blow dry your natural hair. Another alternative is to invest in a at home dryer. They sell those on Amazon for less the $100 I believe
