Scott, you did a phenomenal job on that box. I am fortunate enough to own this box as well, it’s fantastic! Records sound great. Maiden totally deserves it!🤟 also, I have the first ten year vinyl Boxset, and that box is notorious for just fading and gaining wear , mine is good, not great but another rare Boxset. Anyway, great job! Joe
Great job Scott. Definitely worth the effort for a piece like that. Nice work with the iron. Did you put it directly onto the edge of the cover or did you use a towel with it? I would just wonder if it would be too hot for the shiny finish but you did an expert job. Congrats! Now get it displayed. 🤘🤘🤘🎸🎶👏
This is probably the first time I have seen a restoration video of a vinyl box. I have thought of doing something similar to one of my outer sleeves to one record I own. Very nice work on that box Scott, I would say that it was totally worth it and will look much better sitting at the shelf.
Good job. Good tip if you do it again is to water down some PVA glue 50 50 mix and use a small brush to work it in where the corners are peeling. Felt pens will show shine when light hits it at a angle. Acrylic paint thinned down and 2 goes works better. Good job saving it
Wow you did a killer job on that box set , looks amazing ! I’m sure I’d take a chance on it for that price too , not something I ever see shown ! Cheers Scott 🤘
Great job. Ive done this before when I received CDs with those stupid hole punches and tears. It drives me nuts I usually get out a marker and construction paper.
Right on I like how it turned out . From what I was able to see , it looks a thousand times better . Yea there’s that slight warp on the box , unfortunately we can’t have it all lol . Good job though, most people would’ve just settled for it the way it was or payed an outrageous price for one in better condition. Cheers 🤘
Coloring for adults I see. Nice job, it seems like quite a collectors item. Guess the bend is not a huge problem once its filled right? Fun little video man, cheers 🤘
That's a great result given how bad it was. I often use a black sharpie to sort out the edges of old 80s albums (black ones of course!) might have to branch out to some new colours now. I was tempted to pick it up but blew my budget on other things, I think you did a better job than I would have!
Wow! That looks great and for about $35 US! You scored!! I’ve used the black sharpie trick before, but never a project or results like this. I like videos on cleaning and repairing records. This is a good one! Cheers, Jon
Well done, looks brilliant compared to the way it was. It was a steal at that price. Would love to have a copy. Andy will be kicking himself he didn't buy it 😂. Enjoy 🤘
You really did a great job there. As long as the vinyl was in good condition that's all that really matters, but it always makes a difference when it looks good too.Got yourself a great bargain.

Nice job. It looks aesthetically pleasing on the eye. 🤘🤘
Great result!! Well done 👍
Nice find and nice job restoring it. That box set is expensive.
Well done sir...looks a lot better...✌️

It definitely looks the part now Daniel, amazing what a bit of colouring in can do!
Good job my friend, it looks a lot better. totally worth the effort
Very nice job, a item like that is definitely worth saving and restoring
Well done mate! Love this package. I've owned it on cd for years now. Great collector's item. Enjoy 🤘 🍻.

Scott, that is an amazing job! Well done, buddy! You saved that killer box set from certain doom and brought it back to life! Take care, Billy-
I’m really pleased with the results it looks great now. Glad to see the shop doing so well Billy if only you were a couple of thousand miles closer!

Nice job Scott! You’ve gotta try & tidy it up without a doubt! It’s a nice boxset & at £24 you got a real steal imo!🤘🏻
Cheers Marc, it’s shining now, glad I could do something with it
Good restoration Scott. Not easy repairing water damage 👍
Thanks mate!
Great job. Ive done this before when I received CDs with those stupid hole punches and tears. It drives me nuts I usually get out a marker and construction paper.
Your time and effort paid off. It turned out great. Nice piece of metal history there for sure 👍🏻🤘🏻(Anthony)

Thought it needed a bit of extra attention seeing as it’s quite rare. Cheers Raul!

I’ve only done a bit of touching up before, but thought this needed some extra attention. Very pleased with the results anyway!
Excellent result. If the water had made it's way in to the sleeves cardboard fibre it cannot be restored.

Thanks Jon, quite an easy fix but makes the world of difference

Well done on the refurb. You have to try don't you with a thing like that. Looks good!
Cheers Mike, a simple fix but makes a lot of difference.

I have to come to terms with the fact that I will never be able to own this set. 😣😢😭
You never know! 🤘
Should have used paint would have been easier to match the colours
I couldn’t find my easel
Best of a bad job mate
