How much was the installation? Did you have to get a new pane of glass or did they just cut a hole in your window? I dont want to have to replace my french doors. Thank you
I hope those are at least AA batteries. With a 4 x 1.5 volt battery set up, you can usually replace with two 18650 li ions rescued from an old laptop battery-if there is room to fit them-easier with 4 x D cell. It's all flat li-on pack batteries in light laptops these days, tho. . . those could work I guess, but tricker to charge. It would be so easy to equip these with 18650 Li ion cylindricals in the first place rather than alkaline. Why do they torture us? I wonder if they sell microchip cat doors on Aliexpress?

It kind of depends if they are actually fat they will struggle going through. But if they are large as in tall/long like say a Maine coon but is the proper weight then as someone commented here they are flexible and will fit through.
My cat would rather wake me up to let him in or out.

dont worry cats are very flexible and they fit through tiny holes, the furr makes them look bigger, but they’re bones are flexible
