  • Turn on subtitles for explanations. Over the holidays I sometimes build... um... medieval... tools for fun. This time I make a sketchy axe out of a disc (agricultural) which should be made of some pretty tough steel.
    Music:
    1. (0:00) A Simple Feeling - Alge
    2. (2:07) Sunset Trails - DJ Williams
    3. (5:48) Frisk - Au.Ra
Most of the music I use is from the RUclips Audio Library.

I decided to jump on the prim tech subtitle bandwagon, a little late but either way, turn them on for explanations

Looks good enough to take into battle 👌 2:52 Just a pointer in case you didn't know that kind of fuel is probably the worst type you could use for blacksmithing. It can be used, but it's going to be a pain in the butt as it makes ash instead of embers. If you can't afford other types of fuel most wood will work. Cutting it into smaller chunks works almost like coal. Hope it helps!

OMG, get some training on proper setting of an oxy-acetylene torch because that was REALLY crappy cutting. Proper setti gs cuts a clean straight cut without much slag on the piece
