I find hilarious that there are people asking for real time footage and people telling them it would be hours long. I'm mean duh. Most people know that, it doesn't mean they wouldn't watch it. I've watched hour long tutorials just because I want to learn more. When you're dedicated about something you're willing to spend the time.
It's funny how people think a couple of hours is long. When you're learning something, hours is nothing. Too many people want a 15min video to teach them everything. You end up with a very high level surface understanding which won't get you anywhere.
Every time he picked a color I keep thinking "Are you suuuure?" but then BAAM the color scheme turn out so good wow! It reminds me that I still need to expand my color study, I never have the gut to make an artwork without any color scheme references at all beforehead

I haven't dabbled in Illustrator like much at all, but I've always really really wanted to!!! This speed art makes me think of Blender 3D modeling where everything is object-oriented and you design each aspect basically one at a time and place them into the scene where photoshop is mostly "paint" or "draw" oriented. This concept makes me feel more confident in being able to make a scene like this!! Thank you!!

Try to set speed *0.25, you can see everything clearly, designer is very thoughtful for using menu instead of shortcuts. Love it and Subscribed.

Try watching at .25x speed. You might learn a thing or two
One thing to remember though: Turn off the audio for the video when watching the video at this speed :P
