I lived and did some work right south of here at a salvage yard in May and June 2011. The Hotel offered a stay to my Native friend at about 1000 pesos a month, which would have been a steal. I built a room in the back of the salvage yard, made a makeshift shower utilizing compressed air and stayed there for a short time, If you know the town, I made the store Baja Pawn for Constentino , I miss Mulege. Thanks for the post.

Serenidad which means serenity in English looks like the most serene place in the planet, thanks for sharing it.

I was there for a few days Last week of January while traveling through on my motorcycle. That same Cessna was still there then. Very nice place and staff. Will be back there again next year for sure

Beautiful place and soooo serene. Have you and Dave ever thought of just staying and living in Mexico? I've heard that it's cheaper to live there and it looks wonderful.

It could be a possibility at a future date. At the moment we have an idea of making our home wherever we are....like gypsy nomads. So many places to see and experience. Baja, Mexico has been wonderful and there is much to gush about regarding this place. Most definitely easy to live here quite cheaply as compared to anywhere in the USA.

Adventures of Sandra & Dave, I completely understand wanting the nomad life as well. I think living where home is where you lay your hat would be an amazing life to live. Thank you for sharing your journey with those of us that don't feel this life is possible for us at this moment. But I'm hoping within the next three years my husband and I can get away like you two are doing now. Thank you again and safe travels.

Everywhere you look is character. Decades and decades of character from a better time. How many people in the world do you think could use a week at the Hotel Serenidad right about now?

We were beach camping and dropped in to the Hotel Serenidad for a hot shower. The on-demand electric shower-head water heater gave me a hell of an electric shock!

Ouch. The showers we used had no such electric heater. The first year we had a room. That shower was hot. The showers provided for "RV" spots were cold. Great showers and bathrooms are a treasured find for us. This year in Mulege we stayed at a RV park on the other side of the river....on the road that leads to the Lighthouse.

Great video, Sandra & Dave! It's nice to see americans enjoying our country. I love yours too. I'd be delighted if you visit my channel, inspired by yours. Hope make you proud :D I was thinking about making a mutual recommendation of our channels so you get more hispanic visitors and I get americans...Hope you answer!
