I did this on legend (unfortunaely for my mental health) and no weapons. There werent *that* many differences cuz you tried to avoid making grilled cheese. But for example the first tamashiro fight,i backed off and grinded for 2 whole days to get double finisher. Made it a lot easier. For the kanda fight, komaki parry. For the majima fight,just turn around,wait for him to start attacking,and flip around and parry. Same thing for shinzaki the hitman as they share a moveset. For lau ka long,the buildup to the fight made the actual fight misery. I did actually cheese this with the nearby items. Security officers was the hardest fight. Fuck it. For the final long battle,sacrifice stone. Other than that,the runs were parallel. I recommend learning how to infinite in y3 if you plan to legend this (don't.)
My casual walkthrough Yakuzsa game is with 0 healing at all. After I finish every game, gonna try the same on a legend level (now it is just "hard"). Well done dude. Did you try Yakuza 4?

This guy is genuinely amazing, I’d never do this, all they do is block and you do so little damage alongside the worst combat system of all the yakuza games, respect

if you ever do another yakuza 3 challenge. I’m pretty sure you can unlock the komaki techniques before you fight kanda, and using the komaki parry on him while he’s using an object will immediately disarm him (i don’t think you can counter him when he carries the massive lion rock thing tho)

Got an idea for Y4. Akiyama without kicking Saejima without charge attacks Tanimura without parry And Kiryu with no komaki moves or heat actions. Also no weapons because that defeats the purpose of these restrictions. You can use weapon heat actions tho.

Well, Yakuza 4 could do a challenge without skill improvements and in legend, without heat actions. The truth is it doesn't have as many mechanics as the others to come up with something more intelligent lmao

I'm really digging the more live commentary styled videos you're doing. Was never really a fan of the old style despite the challenges being interesting but ever sense you swapped to doing this I've been watching your content a bit more. Adds a bit more personality to your videos in my honest opinion.
I don't know why, but I hated playing Yakuza 3 Remaster, and admittedly I hated Yakuza 4 but because of MY choice in that, I played Y3 on easy for my first and only playthrough and... Damn it... I actually loved the story! But I hated fighting and finding enemies... Y4 was actually the opposite for combat, the story I enjoyed too but... Why did I challenge myself to play HARD on my first playthrough?! I maxed out everyone BUT Tamimura!
(Yes I’m not even a minute in to comment this) Yakuza 3 is by far the worst game in the mainline series. However, I would argue that it has a better plot and gameplay loop than any AAA game past 2017. It’s called yakuza 3 because while it might not have 3 protagonists, it has more than earned the Triple A experience
