Like, yeah yeah, Alolan Meowth, or whatever-- Where's. The. Trubbish?
For anyone wondering what we're waffling about, there was a merch line in Pokémon Centers (the irl stores) with the artistic stylings of Kino Takahashi for "Galarian Meowth Day".
Most of the Pokémon featured were cats. Glameow, Skitty, Litten, K.Meowth, Purrloin, Espurr, Perrserker, and, of course, G.Meowth.
Thing is, there are three odd ones out. There's a Sneasel "playing" with a Joltik. Sneasel is based on a weasel yōkai, but it may have black cat influences, and there are weasels that are mistaken for cats, so that doesn't raise too many eyebrows overall. The Joltik also doesn't get full billing, only acting as a plaything for Sneasel.
That leaves Trubbish. Now, it is known that Trubbish is a literal bag of garbage and is a play on the idea of dust bunnies. That having been said, as Trubbish has been placed among and accepted into the in-group of naught but cats, Trubbish is now *_legally_* a cat. I mean, the login is perfect and unerring.
Basically, it has become a bit of a fun in-joke that Trubbish is a cat.
Trubbish a cat? Physically? No. Conceptually? No.
...but it's a cat nonetheless.

Alolan Meowth, shinx, and litleo are missing..you can add zeraora, zangoose(based on cat and Mongoose), and sneasel(based on cat and weasel).

Sorry, this is not valid! You’re missing all of Alolan Meowth, Sneasle, Hisuian Sneasle, Zangoose, Munchlax and Trubbish. There was a Lockstin and Gnoggin video about Sneasler where I found out that Munchlax, Sneasle and Trubish are cat Pokemon as well.
But seriously, I’m just kidding. This is just super cute and lovely! I wonder how much purring it would cause. It would be like trying to find out how much panting and slobbering all the dog Pokemon would cause (including Riolu or Lucario [They’re dogs as well.]).

You are wrong, Trubbish is a sentient rubbish bag, Sneasel is a weasel, Zangoose is a mongoose and Munchlax is a bear.
@@adamcunningham9947 I thought they Were cats. There was a Lockstin and Knogin video about Sneasler and at one point, Lockstin mentioned a Japanese Pokémon merch line themed around the different cat Pokémon and it also featured all of Sneasle, Munchlax and even Trubbish (apparently). As for Zangoose, the Pokédex describes it as the “Cat Possum Pokémon”. I always thought it was a cat because of that. Besides, he actually explained that Sneasle, Weavile and Sneasler are all a mix between weasels and cats.
However, now that you mention it, I wonder whether or not Trubbish and Munchlax really Do count, even if they were featured in the video.
