I’m 44 year old and have 2 grown my biological sons 21 and 15 year olds. I really want to adopt a girl and it was always my dream to have more children and a daughter.
Now my biological children are very independent I have a lot of time and love to give to another child
I had depression in the past and had treatments with my GP for a few years and I’m worried this can potentially be a problem for me adopting a child. I don’t mind an older child, in fact I’m not very keen on a baby bur on a toddler or pre schooler. I also would consider siblings, I’m financially very stable and my job is flexible as I work from home.
I’m going to start my adoption process soon, please wish me luck

Hi lovely. Don’t let anything get in your head about you not being able to adopt. Many of us adopters have a past of mental health struggles and it hasn’t hindered us adopting!

Being honest hasn’t worked for us
