One of the best things I've invested into my g29 base that days I used it.. These look much better then the ones I got (srews sitting beside the magnetics, not good idea for a good fix). And exactly you can fix them that way that you have less travel for the shifters. Also not a bad Idea is when you're fine with position fix it on top with 4 points hot glue. Finally to bring down the shift noise (metal to metal now) fix some paper (double or quattro layer) between magnetics and shifter arm. You don't loose stronginess of magnetics but get aware of the metal clicks
Bought this based on your recommendation and am very happy with my purchase. They now cost £8.99 but for the quality it's no big deal. Also they have taken your advice re the size of the tightening bolts - they no longer protrude, there is now a nut at one end and the bolt screws into this. Thanks for the review.
Karl, you should do a video on a power supply mod on the G29. If you get a 6A 24v supply off Amazon it helps loads with force feedback response and time !
he is back... Karl "pimp my g29" Gossling. Got the 2020 vibes when I discovered your channel. Coincidentally, recently I was looking on similar mod and was considering buying it. Can I ask you how much the noise of shifting increased after installing this mod? Is it something significant?
Little question. Does the 3d model HOLD the screws in place. My current ones unfortunately don't have good enough of "screw line" it doesn't stay thight and well loses it purpose

Would this mod help rectify an existing issue with the paddle? My downshift paddle is inconsistent I've had the wheel for over 5 years now. Looks like a great mod if I can fix the paddle issue. Cheers
It could be the micro switch. My upshifts were playing up in my 5+ year old G29 so I opened up the wheel and cleaned the switch contact point. Problem solved.
Came today. I have a Modded version of G920 and it doesn't fit. Now need to pay more for a return. Please DO NOT BUY with a Modded version, save yourself some money. Should really state that it's for STANDARD G920 Only when Buying. Real shame.
Without sounding rude why did you assume it would work with your modified G920?! Common sense would suggest that you check before buying any G920 accessory if you've modified it.

I had this when I had the logitech stuff, And for me it was a pretty big upgrade I enjoyed it so much. I did not like the stock paddels at all
