Appreciated this video. Graphite. The small shafts are graphite. Oxides. The black schmutz is metal oxides. Thanks for demonstrating the range of sounds and general principles. The explanations before the relevant demos tested my patience. I had to fast forward because I was so eager to hear the resulting sounds.
"..Let the gong tell me what to do..." Great instructional video, even has a de-shmutzing segment at the end. Two thumbs up. The Atlantis gong sounds great !
Thank you so much !!
Awesome video! Thank you!!!
Glad you liked it!
Superb sound! Totally sold on it. I've been to too many Gong bath were it was played too aggressively and almost put me off.
I hear almost nothing from the 10 cm big ball, and my ears are good! Maybe that's due to the recording? ?? The 2nd ball works better there... nice! I have a 36" Unlimited sub-atomic gong from yours, so how would these flumis work with it? Do you have a demo? Thanks!
How long do these B Love Flumies last being that they are a friction mallet? Very helpful video. Thanks for the ideas!
B Love is how it says it, be love with your Flumie caress and stroke, if you want to be dramatic and heavy carry a gong stick, B in Love with your b love's and caress
Would I get different notes from these, if there’s only 2 low tone fundamental notes on my gong
You won't get any different notes necessarily, but different mallets will highlight different harmonics and overtones.
Do you recommend storing the flumies in a plastic bag? I heard that they can dry out over time and this is a good practice.
it depends on what kind.
